Good evening noise cashers. I have been out of the platform for some days . I don't know why the noise cssh was not working for some hours but it seems today everything is going back to normal. Tonight i am posting a interesting story about a first class cruise ship. World Discoverer is a seven-deck ice class 1A small cruise ship for cruising in the polar regions, among island-dotted archipelagos and at the mouths of large rivers. The ship was put into operation in 1975 and was one of the first to deliver tourists to Antarctica, which was possible due to the special double hull design. #noisecash On April 30, 2000, north of Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands, the World Discoverer cruise ship hit a previously uncharted reef and ripped open its starboard side. #photography Under the threat of flooding, the captain sent the ship aground in a quiet bay. Human casualties were avoided, but the ship could not be saved. In the following years, the cruise ship was looted by civil war-torn Solomon Islanders. The ship is currently a popular tourist attraction. #randomthoughts
