🔘The Pula Arena🔘 ⚫An amphitheatre located in Pula, Croatia. ⚫The Arena is the only remaining Roman amphitheatre to have four side towers and with all three Roman architectural orders entirely preserved. ⚫It was constructed in 27 BC – 68 AD and is among the world's six largest surviving Roman arenas. ⚫A rare example among the 200 surviving Roman amphitheatres, it is also the best preserved ancient monument in Croatia. ⚫The maximum height of the exterior wall is 29.40 m (96.5 ft). ⚫The first two floors have each 72 arches, while the top floor consists of 64 rectangular openings.The arena had a total of 15 gates. ⚫This amphitheatre, through its remarkable conservation, has served as an excellent example for the study of ancient building techniques. ⚫The arena has also been used for cinematic works such as Titus, a 1999 film adaptation of Shakespeare's revenge tragedy. . . #photography #noisecash #randomthoughts #travel #history

You have to visit it .. since the covid rules are gone , we are freely to move inside europe. Some countries still need the pcr test.

Oh, hello! The closest I ever came to Albania was Dubrovnik. We were on our way, but the windshield cracked, so we turned around. Two years ago. :) Was not ment to be, it seems.
The world is so small , i have been in most of the Balkan countries tourists spots but i haven't reached to go to Slovenia. By the way i love to visit the "dragon bridge ?" , your country has many beautiful architectural buildings. I suggest you to come visit Albania , we have many special spots but not this year maybe after 2 or 3 years. Many places , highways , roads are under construction for the moment.
This year we plan for a road trip from Ljubljana to Rome and Calabria. Perhaps next year.

Hehe, we love to travel, yes. Corona ffed that up, but we'rr wwiting for the things to 'normalize'. Russia is not making it better right now.
