Hello everyone,I'm going to share with you my experience in my boarding house when I was in college days. Our house is far from my school that's why I need to stay in a rented room just near in the university. That house was too old, made of woods,it has two floor. At the 1st floor there was a young lady who used to stay there, she is a niece of our landlord. But she is working in the morning at just came home at dawn, because her class also is in the evening and had a part time job after her schedule.
At the second floor where I have rented ,have three rooms. The one is occupied by a student also who is also studying in where I was,but we're not close because I was just a 1st year that time and she's already a 4rth year student,we just meet at the stairs and smile with one another. The other room was rented by a criminology student who is also a 4rth year.He is always there in his room everyday, except for weekends. But the most undesirable thing that happened every morning is that, his room had a very bad smell when he open it,that is why I always make sure that my door is closed so that I couldn't breath the very bad air, hehe sorry for that words,it really smells bad.
The third room, there was me ,who have a destroyed window glass and no padlock. Most of the time I slept at 1 am because I'm always on guard, what if someone will get in my window when I'm asleep.Im often had eyebugs and fatigue when I go to school.
But the most creepy thing for me,that someone was stealing my food. When I wake up in the morning to have my morning coffee and bread,I open my cabinet and there's nothing left there.By the way,our kitchen was separate from our room,it was downstairs. The landlord told us to put our things in one place like utensils and our food to make it easy for us to cook.
But I didn't know that there was a stranger who get inside in the night. He was a young man,who is a brother of the lady on the first floor,he is a person who doesn't have permanent address.
At first,I used to react with my boardmates and even in my landlord of whose stealing my food.Especially when I came from school at 8'o clock and I didn't have a dinner yet. I really want to cry of being disappointed and hungry, and there was nothing left.
One day,I made a plan to catch up the thief,I used to go to school early after breakfast and I put my leftover food inside the cabinet which is a caldereta that I buy on the carinderia near on the sidewalk. After a few minutes I came back and I silently enter the kitchen, and saw the young man who slowly opened my cabinet. But I didn't say anything,at last I found out whose the mystery guy.
When my landlord came,I told him of what had happened, and so sad he didn't react on it because it was his niece,a son of his younger sister.
That makes me think to leave that place and it also comes to my mind the worst thing he can do to me
I can't afford to know that my landlord had tolerate his relative just to avoid them feel disappointed.
And that makes me to have my anxiety and I can't sleep in the night, that's why I choose what's best for me.
My message
That experienced of mine teaches to always be vigilant wherever I am,we can't be sure with the people around especially when we are just new in a certain place.
I pay only 500 on that room instead of 700 because the window glass is broken .It's better to paid for quality than to save money but makes me to feel my fears.

It's a good decision that you leave we don't really know what might happen. I remember the worst experience I had in my boarding house way back college as well. Our landlord is the one who always peaking at us during bath in the bathroom.
