Why do we choose to be happy despite of? Hello amazing people, I am excited to read and write an article this evening, this platform is a part of my daily routine. As of today, my topic is about being happy despite of difficulties, it's not that we seems like crazy, but it's all about having a positive outlook and perspective in life regardless of the negative rolling with the prices of basic necessities of every household. The country is facing hardship nowadays due to the inflation rate,I don't know exactly about that matter but it affects in everything to become costly, especially the basic products like foods which we need every day. Even though life is hard, I can say that we still choose to be happy even if our budget is so tight. Yesterday I was able to buy some vegetables in the public market before going home. I only have 500 pesos allocated for groceries after buying uniforms for my son and I spent 1 thousand plus. *I'M IN THE MARKET LAST SUNDAY* I go to a place where there are vendors who came from the mountain, it was located beside the bridge and the farmers have set their products on the ground with their sacks , and everyone can buy vegetables at a cheaper price, rather than buying in the public market. I spent $2 on vegetables and another $2 on pork, and 4 dollars or 20 pesos for our basic needs like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and so on. When we go home, I also buy a slice of bread for 50 pesos or $1. *STILL SMILING DESPITE OF* As I have observed the people in the market are smiling and happy talking with their friends, and even the customers and vendors are having a joke time while they are counting the prices of the goods. Yes, life recently, is harder especially for the low income families, who are most affected and having a difficulty in buying foods to be serve in the family three times a day. But it doesn't hinder us to put smiles on our faces, just like the Pinoy song, "tawanan mo ang iyong problema, hahaha".This song is just good vibes when we have some troubles in life. We still choose to be happy even if the inflation rate is rising. *WHY DO WE STILL CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY?* **Because we cannot change things and it's out of our control,** even if we are affected but we don't have a choice but to continue our life endeavors. This is it, and we have to face it, whether we like it or not. Life may be getting harder as time goes by, and it shouldn't stop us to put a smile on our faces and live life to the fullest. It's hard to life in sadness, we should handle things right and take it easy, we are all together strive and help each other through sharing our beautiful smiles. **Because we cannot add-on to our life even one second when we are worrying instead, we are slowly subtracting our days.** Yes, too much worry can make our life shorter because sadness has a lot of effects in our physical, mental, and emotional aspect. Our body can develop some illnesses and other negative adverse effects because of stress,as well as if we choose to smile and have time to mingle with our friends and be happy, it will ease our boredom and help us to gain positive energy from them. **Because we need to be resilient for our family to stay still even in difficult times.** As a mom, even if I have a problem in budgeting our weekly allowance for food, I didn't let my kids to feel the same. Instead, I always told them to be thankful whatever we have in our table three times a day. When they saw me sad, they will also be affected and they can also feel the same way. Happiness is contagious, while worrying too. I didn't mean that I'm happy 24 hours a day in 365 days, but what am I going to say is that, we need to strive to be positive and keep on believing that we can surpass the hardship along the way. As a minimum wage earner, and having a family, it's not easy, especially the opening of the school year is next month. But, what I've learned from my husband who always told me, *that* ***we need to enjoy with what we have, focus on the present situation with open eyes, and give time and space to smile and enjoy through the tiring day of working.*** "A frown face can create more wrinkles in our face" ,my teacher always told us that words before. That's why if we want to live longer, and live life as it's best, we can choose to be happy. *HAPPINESS IS OUR HOME* As a human being its part of our existence to be happy, life isn't worthwhile without it. We feel comfortable, light and so well when we can smile. APPRECIATE HAPPINESS WHILE IT'S EXISTING Recognize those moments that your smiling and happy, it doesn't happened all day. While you have it, enjoy and learned to set free your emotions, lett he voice of laughter be heard. FINAL THOUGHTS Happiness is a choice, it's in your control, I have realized that sometimes there are situations that will test my resiliency, love and trust which may become a reason to change my mood but in the end, all I want is to live a happy life. You and I can be a better person,a happy human, if there is something like inner thoughts or voice from the outside that says your miserable, neglect that and change your attention by choosing to be happy and start a new chapter to write your own story that will inspire others. Thank you all.

Yes. Go with the flow na lang. Mahahighblood lang kapag palaging galit. Magsumikap na lang at magpasalamat
Tama, magpa salmat sa lahat NG bagay, dahil Yan ang kalooban ng Dios, at magiging masaya tayo sa kanila ng kahirapan.
Being happy is always a choice like you have said already. To be sad is also a choice too. I once told my friend who once felt so discourage in life that if life give him 100 reasons to be sad that he should give life back 1000 reasons to be happy. Once we're faced with challenges with don't need to kill ourselves all we need to do is to encourage ourselves and move on. knowing too well that most things that happen to us happen just to test our resilient. It's just temporary it wouldn't be permanent.
That's right, we need to focus on positive side of life and be grateful about it, rather than focusing on negative things that will make us sad, and demotivated. We need to keep moving on, and on.
Yes sis agree ako. Despite of everything we need to be happy and smile. Magiging okay ang lahat at makakatulong para lagpasan ang mga problema kasi it will serve as a motivation.
That's right sis, we still need to smile kasi nakaka wrinkles ang pagiging malu gkutin natin. Everything that happens to us will turns out for our good PA din.
Oo sis. Dapat smile lang. Madali tatanda pag puro lungkot.
Isa talaga sa dapat natin matutunan is yung resilience kasi ang problem andyan na talaga
Oo, kakambal an nation ang problema sa araw araw na buhay natin, kaya sana maging matatag tayo.
I think that's what happens to me, I always try to keep calm at home so that others don't worry in those moments of difficulty. But in the end I will always choose happiness and calm above all else.
Me too,I choose to suffer than my family, even if I have a hard times as a homemaker, but I didn't tell it, so that they will not be affected too.
Hahaha mataas na ang presyo ng lahat pero yong height ng mga kaibigan natin hindi pa din tumataas. A happy wife is a happy life sabi ng mga Mister. Kaya pala ganyan ka kc jolly molly din si hubby. Life is never complete without pains and challenges but not as much happier kung walang enjoyment, peace and gratefulness. The contentment you have is nakakahawa.
