You don't have to be in Africa or in Nigeria to be bothered about the wrongs that keeps happening on a daily basis, Nigeria is by far one of the most important countries you can not help but notice, from areas like sport, music, movies, personalities and apparently corruption too. Nevertheless things can and would get better, we can only hope it's soon. From time immemorial the country has been swimming in bad governance and just when you think oh another election is here to make things better, boom another villian surfaces and the people wail harder.

Today the people have taken to the streets once more to shout to the world for rescue, the most recent outcry before now was before now was that to shun police brutality, saying no to police violence directing it specifically to the division called "SARS". Well the protest didn't end so good as life was lost in the night shooting . investigation still lingers on till date, nothing has been done to bring the culprits to book, apparently some individuals are higher than the law over there.

At first, I was also going to say let's bear till the next presidential election as it's very hard to impeach a sitting president before an election when its not military regime, but then the president issued a ban on the use of twitter in the country, and the justice issued a persecution to anyone who would defile the order and go ahead to use the platform, then I begin to wonder if it was a country any longer or a correctional facility, all what is missing is the whip to strike the populace with, it's the height of inconsideration, in order words one day the internet would be seized off and the people would have no choice but to return to the primitive age. Its really appauling.

The situation of things necessary for daily substance are high up, the usual foods for survival has gone up, there's so much the people are dealing with and the government seems to not care about pushing it better, rather keeps going into debt to cater for less important issues. Stats shows that over a 70% of the nation lives below 3$ a day, if that isn't poverty already I wonder what poverty can be worst defined as.

It'll would also impress you that the law makers like the senators earn $13500 every month, not negotiable, if that isn't evil than again I'll need your view, just imagine the gap difference from the people to the law makers, then imagine what the president and his cabinets stands to enjoy, so i guess when we hear that the country is in debt, we automatically know what the money was collected for, not for the people, it can be for the people, the people are starving, public workers are on strike, salaries are not paid, even lecturers who are employed to teach the growing generations are not paid to cater for themselves, some students are now richer than their teachers who were meant to set an example, the adverse effect of this government policies would surely lead to more wrong.

Apparently today being June 12 is the day Nigeria celebrates her democracy day, but who are they deceiving? Definitely not the citizens, been on Twitter and seeing how the the masses are out on the streets protesting against bad government, shouting for the impeachment of the sitting president. Hard right, well yeah, we'll see where it goes, every one must join the country Nigeria in the fight to be better.

Enough of this story you can follow up on Twitter and get updated, The worst when you are at war with the authorities, you can only wonder who you could report, the leaders vs the people is a match you don't want to experience, however the people would sure win, a united large number of people will always over a few number of rich folks irrespective of the machineries they have at their disposal.

We hope for peace in the land of Nigeria, God is the highest authority ever, and to him would a better solution be proffered, we pray God intervention to the favour of the people and a reshuffle to which he would place his own people that would bring Nigeria to a place they love but had only dreamt about. Nigeria has all it takes to be a better land, its mineral resources and population can make it a very rich land to dwell, unfortunately some officials seems it fit to take it all.

History shows there was a Time the Nigerian currency was of greater value compared to the us dollar, now reverse is the case its way lower than the us dollar today. However things can get better. Join In the fight against bad leadership. God Help Nigeria.

Thanks for Reading.
