Does "That Special One" Exist

There is a very popular controversy, some say there is a special one for everyone, that is, there is someone created specially and specifically for you, and you must make sure to find your special one or like they say your missing rib or else you'll be choosing the wrong person. Others however don't concur to this ideology, they believe we make our own special one, everyone has the potential, its what we do with them and how we shape them, its what makes them who we want them to be. Hmm. Tough right, what do you think, is there a special one for everyone, or do we just over think things as there is no special one, we make them the special one. I too wouldn't know for sure, would I, but here is what I feel.

First off, analysis the first point, how do we know someone is truly the special one for us, only God can know that. People have been dating angels only to get married to discover they have been disguising all alone and it they were the devil himself, vice versa some spouse has been judge wrongly as "not an potential husband or wife" only to give it a try and be amazed with how wonderful they are. So I guess we should acknowledge the fact that we are only humans, and we can't predict who is who or what they really say they are, we can only study and experience. However we can seek Gods guidance, but then we have to be sure it's God really guiding us and not our human needs playing the choice for us.

Yes, we are only humans and can't know if that special feeling we are having is indeed the special one, so most times its best to pray about it. It doesn't matter how civilized you're or how smart you are, we are all prone to making the wrong choices, the best one to pick for us is who knows all things. However, so many people have prayed and still gone ahead to pick who their heart needs. We mostly don't pray for God to lead our option, instead we indirectly need God to just say OK. We know who we want, who we are going to pick, if your spirit says otherwise, then we still wouldn't agree, so why pray in the first place.

The second ideology being that there is one special one for anyone, and we make them into the special ones we need. But how hard is it to shape anyone. Some things need to be in place before we should agree to go out with some individuals. We can't see potentials in everyone, some people are a no go. Yes God made everyone, and he said all is good, but we have made our choices of life, and lot of experiences and actions has shaped our mindset and we are different. Do you expect to marry someone who is very violent and not expect to experience violence in your home. Someone who sleeps around with everyone and not expect to have infidelity issues in the marriage. No not everyone is a potential suitor, some basic requirements needs to be in place, before we proceed.

So where do I stand. Is there a special one for everyone right from our creation, or is there no special one, we have to make and shape them to being it. I'll likely go more with the second ideology, saying there are no specially ordained suitor for everyone, and the choice of pick is left to us. If you're making the wrong choice of whom to marry, I don't see any Angel coming to warn you about it, except one is truly prayerful and God wants to avert some misfortune, however we humans are stubborn and we would still do what we want, so what's the need of trying to change someone's mind. Do you know most people still learn more by experience. So I say we have to pick.

But, we are picking not necessarily changing anyone. No one would say come let me groom you into my special one. I want you be like that, stop doing this and start doing that. Humans are not dummies, we all have our way of life, so rather than picking and thinking of working on them to change for us, the best think we can do is to pick with wisdom, understand who they are, what they do and their personality, let see if they would be compatible to us, or would there always be issues. Attractions also matters, do they please us as we need.

I know what attracts me a lady, a lady to knows what attracts her to a guy, the characters are mostly a secondary observation, we firstly get a physical attraction. That is our first pick, sometimes we don't end up with them though, but we surely did get attracted. Some of us also felt like that was the special one for us from God, only to find out it would have been a wrong choice. The choice is left for us to make, however God knows best, but he wouldn't meddle into our life unless we let him. He knows who's best, the only issues is we often ask him for direction but do what we please anyways.

Now that we have carefully selected, with wisdom and prayers, let's accept them as the special one, that is the ordination right there, the heart acceptance. Now start sharing memories, love up on each other, that is what makes them special, the mutual love sharing and nothing else. So does that special one exist I ask again? Yes, but we have to pick with wisdom and prayers. Its all our choices, everything in life, all our friendship and associations are all our choices, you can't hold God accountable to any. So pick wisely.
