As one of the people working in the BPO industry, i do find it disappointing how other people think that the BPO industry is just a 'Dumpsite' for those people who did not finish their studies to find a job with. I mean, sure the minimum qualification for applying is for the person to be at least High School graduate, but, do they even know that we also have people who have the top of their studies, people who have Masteral and Doctorate degrees. In the BPO industry, knowledge and communication is always a must, and the best brains always have this two qualities. Having been engage in the BPO industry for more the 2 years now, i can proudly say that i met more people who have had their post graduate degrees in our industry, than those who work in the government offices. You can't even "Barely" land a job in the government offices if you don't have any "Connections" inside a particular institution, unlike in the BPO industry where you are gauge based on how you communicate and on how fast you can absord the knowledge being shared during training. #RandomThoughts
