BCH: The Beginning( a brief recap) BCH is launched in 2017 as a hard fork (-hard fork refers to a significant change to a network’s protocol that leads to the development of two blockchains-) of BTC to answer the scaling problems caused by Bitcoin’s popularity where the transaction time has been goin longer and longer and the fees going higher and higher. The end block that BTC and BCH shared was Block 478558 and from that point onwards, they have been a separate projects. BCH was specifically designed to resolve the scaling problems that BTC has been going through before and improve its speed and effectiveness. Its blocks were designed initially to be 8x larger than BTC's which was 1 MB and were then further increased to 32 MB per block. Larger blocks increases transaction verification times and allow the network to handle more transactions per second because they can fit more transactions and also causing the fee to drastically go down. From then on we several round of revision, updates and upgrades. We also had a hard fork happen on the BCH community itself but all in all here we are today, steadily growing in numbers and members. #BitcoinCash
