Me in the parallel universe. *Short story* A tired girl went home holding the salary she had by hand. She held it up to give it to her mom and sigh saying, “here’s what’s left, I hope this could help with the expenses here in the house.” There were only few bills in her hand — spare change from the person she has debt with, paid by the same day. Her mom looked at her with a grateful eyes saying, “ this is so much, thank you.” And hugged her. She was dumbfounded for she was expecting that her mom would be disappointed. She felt the heavy burden in her heart was slowly fading when she realized that her mom was grateful with the small things she could give. The circumstances conveyed to everyone who doesn’t appreciate small things is showed how grateful they should be. Sometimes, living in this world seems difficult, we are overwhelmed by what we see around us. Various of reasons in the world can give us a negative outlook in life. Sometimes, were caught up in the bliss of it, where we can simply forget to be thankful. Lets make gratitude as a habit.
