Making Crypto in Spare Time

As a professional driver, I'm looking into different avenues for earning cryptocurrency during my down time. Not only is this for truck drivers, but anyone who travels for extended periods, or even those with little downtime themselves. I'm writing from that point of view of a truck driver, as that's my profession. I am an affiliate of some of the apps and programs listed in this article. Before I talk about ways I have tried to earn cryptocurrency, I want to explain some of the obstacles I must overcome as a truck driver. As a long-haul team driver, my time is limited. I spend half my day behind the wheel, if not more, than anything else. I cannot be active on anything that will take my attention away from driving during this time. When the day is over, I shower, fix some supper, hand the driving duties to my co-driver, and spend a few hours talking and reading before bed. I then wake up an hour or two before my shift starts and start the whole day over again. Keep in mind the truck is constantly in motion, minus a few breaks and the daily shower, all day, every day. From this tiny glimpse into a truck driver's life, you can see there is little time to spend on other ways to make an income, cryptocurrency, or other currencies. This article is a collection of things I've tried in that small window of time I have each day. That doesn't mean I tried every minute possible in that time, nor does it make me an expert on the subject. I hope others can use this information to help them find a way to earn cryptocurrency in their spare time. Blogging This one is new to me. Blogging seems to be on the list of every site about earning extra income that I have read. I take that as a good sign to try it and see what happens. Beyond that, I cannot say with certainty blogging is the way to earn cryptocurrency, as this blog is the first I have written to earn crypto. Buying Spending cash on an exchange to purchase cryptocurrency is an option. Unless you are planning on investing, this is one of my least favorite ways to earn crypto. I say this because it puts me into a day trader state of mind. No, that's not correct. It makes me think of the stock market and my idea of it. Of course, this comes from movies and tv shows, but it's generally what a day trader does. In short, a day trader buys and sells on the same day. They read charts, graphs, understand the market flow, and much more to determine where and when to buy and sell. If, like me, you are not good at reading the market, plan on investing for the long term, and that is risky too. Keep in mind transaction fees and the minimum amount for withdrawal on exchanges. Trading Bot Using a bot to trade for you is becoming, or should I say has become, popular. I've read if you want to succeed at trading, you need to use a bot. There are different flavors out there to use. Bots can be self-hosted or by a paid bot hosting service. I'm currently testing a self-hosted bot called OctoBot. Simulating for a week, it has reported making a profit with my current configuration. However, it was trading with Bitcoin I didn't have. If you choose to use a bot, gather as much information as you can on the one you choose to use. Then review if it's the correct method for you going forward. Trade with what you are willing to lose. Browser Mining Browsers like CryptoTab Browser allow you to mine using your browser. Don't confuse this with getting paid to read articles or view ads. No, this is just like it sounds, a browser with mining capabilities. I have only tried CryptoTab, and can only speak to that browser. It has a minimum withdrawal threshold, and it pays out Bitcoin. On a mobile device, you get 300H/s for free. You can increase to 1000H/s if you install CryptoTab's VPN, CT VPN, and allow it to track your app usage. You have to return to the dashboard every two hours and restart the mining process too. This method would be promising if it mined a coin that didn't need an average of 162.73 EH/s to mine. https://cryptotabbrowser.com/17223597 Faucets A faucet should be called a slowly dripping faucet for a better description of what one is. I'm going to get yelled at, but here goes anyway. I group nearly everything that doesn't pay well for your time into the faucet category. From web pages, apps, games, even CryptoTab Browser mining fall in this category for me. Especially if they have a high minimum withdrawal limit and you have to spend months to reach the set limit. Faucets may be fun to mess with, but don't expect anything out of them. Chances are you will end up with some accounts that have less than a penny's worth of crypto in the wallet. Things I Do While I haven't found anything that will allow me to quit my day job, there are a couple of things I do. I use Brave browser and turn on the Ads in the brave rewards menu. At the time of this writing, I have 14 BAT which is about $16.46 USD. I believe that was for 3 months, but I really can't say for sure. I'm using the browser anyway, so this one is a win-win. I do invest on exchanges like Coinbase Pro and Binance.US, but put my money into coins I can Stake. Staking is buying a coin that will pay you interest if you do not sell the coin within a given period. ALGO on Binance.US is paying out 8% to 10% monthly. That's better than banks! I can add blogging to the list, but cannot say what it will pay. For example, you can set up miners at home and flash firmware that allows you to keep an eye on them while away from home. I tried to keep this article on things you can start from your phone while away from home, and touch on the things that I have at least looked into, but have yet to implement.
