Wait, am I crazy? Memes are everything these days...everyone knows that. A nice way to blow off steam and have a good laugh. But what happens when it becomes boundless and...well.... annoying. I'm a personal lover of memes, my favorite is dark memes 💀(I'm pure evil, I know 😂) I just like what I like. If it's a meme and it's relatable, better believe I'll laugh my lungs off. Tho, what happens when it becomes a little too uncomfortable and disrespectful? I'll give you an example, yeah? I'm religious. A born and bred Christian and where I come from, playing with God or the Bible is literally forbidden (To be fair, people are beginning to chill a little) and anything concerning or God is solely off limits. So, a friend posted a meme (hopefully I'll figure out a way to insert a picture somehow...if I cant, well 🤷🏾‍♀️) And it said 'Jesus fucking Christ' and in the tattoo, it was an image of a guy (a popular image of Jesus) fucking someone who looked like him 😂. I personally got the meme and I laughed a little. My friend got so much backlash that I had to step in. It's a meme for goodness sake! It didn't mean anything. It didn't mean I don't respect God or Jesus. It was just for laughs 😂. Then I tried to go ahead and explain the general concept of memes and memology (being a professional memologist myself even though that is not an actual word 😂) and some of them could relate and the others just violently ranted and cursed. I'm of the personal opinion that it doesn't matter, it's like tripping over a knife cause of a TV show. It's stupid. I tried to make them understand that what matters/ mattered is how you feel inside about God....but I dont know...what you guys think? Am I crazy?
