Mirror of Truth
"Lola, what is that?" I ask as I've seen my Grandmother holding an old, round and crystal-like mirror glass. I am bit amused and I stared for a while because of its amazing design. Even if I am still a few meters away, it is really noticeable. "It looks like a very old mirror you have there, Lola. You are not using it anymore, right?", I asked. "This is the Mirror of Truth", she said. A wrinkle appear in my head as I'm so confused on what she said and scratched my hair. "What do you mean, Lola? As far as I know is that you can only see your reflection in the mirror". "Truth? Does that mirror have magic, Lola?", I innocently ask my Lola. She put the old mirror back in the box and put it at the top of our Cabin where I can not reach it. She then take the comb from the cabin and sat beside me while I lay down in her bed. "Yes, **Ryan**." I was shocked a little with her answer. So I face in front of her and she stopped from trying to comb my hair. "Can you tell me the story on how did it happen? How did the mirror had magic?", I excitingly ask her but she just smiled at my favor. "You are still very young when it comes to things like this my child. Let me just comb your hair so you can go outside and play already". "What was that?" As i heard a noise rampaging below. "Is Papa and Mama arguing again?" Both of them are always arguing even for a little things and that really saddened me so much every time they had an argument. Until I have grown up, they still always argue. There are lot of creepy things that I have experienced just like seeing a lost spirit or soul. I didn't tell it to anyone about this because I don't want anyone to accuse me of being crazy. One night, I overheard my Lola and Mama's conversation. "I want to see the truth, Mother", Mama says. So I secretly watched them behind the door of Lola Medyos' room that was a little bit open. Lola Medyos get the box from the cabin and take out the old Mirror. "Mirror of Truth, Come and show the reason. Why is the husband of my daughter Anita always angry." Lola said while in front of the mirror. I was only behind them. And I tried to cover my mouth as I was shocked to what I've seen. At first it was only my Lola's reflection but now.... another woman appeared! She's not Mama. Not my Lola, too. Who is that woman? And my mind has clearly take it. I am shocked about the truth. My Papa has another woman aside from Mama. Mama cried heavily. I run directly to my room. Like my Mama, i cried heavily from one side of my room's corner. But I stopped crying when a hand landed on my head. I look up, and I don't know what to say. A woman, a bloody woman is in front of me. She's scary! "Get away from me!" My body is shaking while uttering the words. There is a body with no head. A man with no eyes. And a man full of knives on his back and stomach. "Get away from me! Demons, stay away from me! Please, I'm begging you stay away from me!" I cried heavily again. Its rattling and I am shaking, they are very scary! "Spirits! Do not disturb me! Get away!" I cried continuesly. 21 years had passed and I am already a professional man and had a very good job. I also have my own family now too. I am in my room alone so i tried to open the box where the old mirror of my Lola were hidden. My Lola, Mama and Papa were killed by an unknown murderer until today. I want to know who's behind their death. Holding on to an old mirror of my Lola, I can't see any reflection, even mine. Indeed this mirror is covered with magic. "Mirror of Truth, Come and show me, the face of murderer behind the death of my family!" As i speak in the mirror. But I was shocked when an appearance showed in the reflection. A monster with a face of mine was there! A doomed sin is what they all deserved! THE END
