Discovering Self (A Poem)

***Being outside where my conscious is free,Feeling relieved of stress life once gave me.*** ***Opening a path to find who I was supposed to be.*** ***By reaching the depths of my inner soul, seeing the lost pieces that would make me whole.*** ***Focusing on the present but never forgetting the past,*** ***All in hopes to create a future that will truly last.*** ***Now quietly listening to these silent sounds of joy, I notice they are the same one's I've had since I was boy.*** ***The release of this inner peace will decrease the leash that bound the silent sound I just found.*** ***Such a beautiful voice inside the mind and spirit, it's so clear now that I can actually hear it.*** ***It's like energy colliding to the vastness of space, filling me up in every empty dark place.*** ***Even the clarity of*** *****disparity​***** ***can't compare to finding what's truly valuable and rare.*** ***So I must abide to the truth inside where it can no longer hide, and let it free, to be, the truest version of me.*** ***By never letting go of all that I know, is not to put on a show, instead just letting life gently fall down like snow, becoming part of it's natural flow, a constant reminder to take life nice and slow, understanding this is how I will fully grow.*** ***Into the man inside my heart, giving me another chance at a fresh new start.*** ***Where this leads is a distance far beyond my control, whoever stays or leaves I know I won't be played for the fool.*** ***To love myself most from deep within, is the difference between whether I lose or win.***
