I've tried to do my own little investigation(call me detective Valour)😂 Those that are having a change of name or DP whenever they tip another user have multiple accounts. If you noticed, the pictures being shown are of account you own or you are familiar with . Reason why I say familiar is because some people complained that it's caused by sharing hotspot with their siblings. The system identifies each users IP address, so you can't outsmart it. I believe this is just a proof/warning to people, so all won't be able to deny it when drastic actions are being taken. My little piece of advice, if you have more than one account ,decide now which you want to use. Choose one and stop logging into the other again. If it's caused by hotspot, try to use mobile data or get different sources of data.
