Our lecturer was trying to explain the statement "Repetition is the mother of retention" so he decided to ask 3 different people the name of a single person. I'm sure his intention was to tell us we all call the chosen person the same name because we've been repeating it over time. And relate it to the course he is teaching. But he made the mistake of pointing to me. The first person said "His name is Gideon". He pointed to another and she said "His name is Valour" and to the third person who said "His name is Damola". The man looked at them confused and asked "how will a single person be bearing 3 different names?". The whole class burst into laughter realising we just spoiled his plan.
