Kindness Entry #3 Today the volunteers of lugait prepared a humble stir fry noodle as their source for funds to support the elderly people in their neighbourhood. They have found out that the elderly people don't have any support from their children. And they barely have any support from the local government. In addition the elderly people doesn't have any support system in their area. Which leads them to be sickly and poor in health. To response to this concern. The lugait volunteers sorted out their funds and bought medication to the elderly. They also gather one kilo of rice per volunteers. Other volunteers provided some vegetables and fish. The younger volunteers visited the elderly and turn over some hot meals and fruits. This really warm the heart of the elderly folks and made them cried so much. They thought no one will help them because they are useless and old. But they are happy to have people like volunteers who care for them. Lesson: never abandoned your parents. Give time, love, care, respect and understanding to them. They needed particularly when they are old, frail and weak. Remember their sacrifices for you when you are young.
