Sharing with you the Pig-ulingan community, home of the Banwaon Tribe, the first settlers of the western mindanao. The first photo is the first house upon entering the community. The second photo is the house the volunteers will be staying for the night. Most of the volunteers will be sleeping in their individual hammocks. While others sleep in their sleeping bags. Please note that it's really cold in the forested area given the fact we have a tropical storm right now in the Philippines. Most of the houses in the community are made of light materials found in the forest. And they maximize the resources they could grab in the mountains. Hope this gives you all a clear picture of the community situation and condition. And also somewhat perceived their way of living. Thanks for dropping by again and supporting this post. See you all later.
