I wish to highlight this photo that depicts the primitive way of eating as well as food resources. Please be informed that the packed lunch we have was spoiled due to heavy rain and wash out by the river current. The local people and the volunteers stop at a safe spot and cooked some corn and grabs some edible leaves for our lunch and mixed it with salt. We can't unpacked the other food in the packed to avoid it from being spoiled. We cooked the corn in bamboo and then cut some banana leaves to serve as our plate. All of us shared the meal with laughter and smile. It was a great meal to have with the locals. Such a resourceful people and thank you volunteers for being open in exploring the meals of the Indigenous people. After filling our belly, we immediately head out as we only have few more hours left before nightfall. We were lucky to have a small window of time to cook our meal. Thanks much to the Indigenous people for sharing their meals with the volunteers and also teaching us their way of preparing their food in a primitive way. Stay tune as I share with you the community itself. Thanks for stopping by and checking this post and showing your support. Blessings to you all.
