Life Time or Long term Complications After My Brain Surgeries
When you google "*which human part is the most essential part of the human body"* the first answer will come as
**The Brain**
The Brain is arguably the most essential organ in the human body.
As you can see the screenshot I Uploaded, so you won’t have trouble checking it on Google.
Consider CPU in a computer system, CPU is responsible for performing all the functions and instructions of computer programs. We could not run programs without a CPU.
Consider your Brain as your CPU. Can you imagine will you function without your CPU i.e. Brain.
Human body is complex but Brain is the most complex part of the human body. It controls and coordinates everything in the body. Brain controls and coordinate our actions, behavior, and intelligence, everything that we do, feel, think, and it can even make us able to store memories and feelings.
Brain is heavily guarded by a bony covering called cranium. This complex and body part is responsible for most important functions like, movement, touch, vision, hearing, judgment, reasoning, problem-solving, emotions, body temperature, and learning.
Brain has a direct connection to the whole body through nerves.
Now God forbid if some abnormal cells have started growing in the brain. And it grows to the extent that medications are unable to kill those dangerous abnormal cells, a person has to go through major life-threatening surgery to remove those cells from the brain.
Now imagine a brain that is protected by so many hard layers of bones, is cut open with the help of tools like Drill machines, jigsaw, etc to remove the puss and tumor made by those abnormal cells.
After successful surgery, the person who has gone through brain surgery has to deal with some complications that can be a lifetime or in some cases for a long period of time. Those complications depend on the area of the brain where the tumor was located. A tumor can affect the functions controlled by that specific area of brain.
I have written an article Should Cancer Survivors and Battlers Considered as Heroes? in which I have written in detail about my two major brain surgeries. https://read.cash/@Usmanshoaib/should-cancer-survivors-and-battlers-considered-as-heroes-e1e51eee
The tumor in my brain was located in the frontal area of the skull. In the first surgery, Puss and tumor were removed along with infectious skull bone, and titanium mesh was placed as a filing in the second surgery.
Normally, people after brain surgeries can have different lifetime complications like difficulty walking, weakness on an arm or leg or one side of the body, difficulty concentrating or remembering things, behavior changes, anxiety and depression, mood swings, problems with speech, difficulty walking or moving, difficulty with speech or understanding, seizures (fits), severe tiredness (fatigue), problems with your vision and hearing, personality changes, memory problems.
But I will write about the complications I am facing and trying to overcome after the brain surgery.
Thankfully, I don’t have intense complications like seizures or problems with vision and hearing or difficulty walking or weakness in body parts. But I have other complications which can be seemingly easy but can affect anybody’s professional and personal life badly.
**Dizziness with involuntary eye movement**
Sometimes, the feelings of dizziness worst when I am working on my laptop or cell phone which makes it harder for me to excel in my professional life coz it's extremely important for me to work 9 to 5 sticking to my laptop as I am working as an IT guy.
When I stick my eyesight on something important on my laptop screen, a sudden eye movement occurs where I feel that my eyes were shut down for a very less moment like milliseconds. It feels downright scary and my heart suddenly starts pumping hard.
**Difficulty Concentrating or Remembering things**
I used to have a very sharp and quick memory but brain surgery has worsened its condition. People use to note down the tasks and instructions so that they can remember them. I have never used it before but now my memory has come down to the point that if someone gives me instruction and asks me about it after an hour, I can’t quickly remember it. I need to jog my memory to remember that instruction. This situation brings a huge amount of embarrassment for me in front of my office colleagues. They start making fun of me by saying your RAM is too slow. You should upgrade your hardware. The funny and sad thing they consider these mean comments as a form of a joke.
I can’t perform two tasks at the same time because it becomes too difficult for me to shift focus and attention from one task to another. Multitasking can help us become productive and also save a lot of time. It is extremely disappointing for me because I am unable to do multitasking as it’s difficult for me to rotate my concentration smoothly.
**Fatigue**
I need to put extra effort to concentrate a lot as my brain does not function like it used to do before brain surgery, which makes my mind extremely tired. It limits my ability to work hard and complete my work on schedule.
**Mood Swings**
Mood swings are getting worst day by day. I am trying to control my emotions by staying calm in every situation but sometimes it gets out of control.
Sometimes, I get really happy for no reason, and all of a sudden I become the unhappiest person in the world. Sometimes I find it really difficult to ignore getting irritated by petty things.
My family has constantly supported me from the beginning of my health problems and they are trying really hard to cope with my emotional and mental issues and I don’t blame them at all. If I were in their shoes, I could have never tolerated such behavioral issues.
I have some anger issues too which gets out of my hands sometimes. I get angry on small issues and I have no control over my anger. These anger issues are really affecting my relationship with my wife. She is always tolerant of my behavioral issues but sometimes it crosses her limit of toleration and we get into a verbal argument which leads to a big verbal fight. And in a result, our relationship is getting miserable day by day. I am trying my best to manage these issues and I hope one day I will be in control of my emotions.
**Anxiety and Depression**
All issues written above lead me to the most serious issue which is anxiety. Constant fear of what will happen to me. Will I be able to excel in my office with slow memory and zero multitasking skills? What will happen to my dream of living a happy and healthy life with my family after all these mental issues and emotional changes? Will I ever be able to regain my respect in my professional career??
**Coping with these Long Term/Life Time Problems**
We don't have rehabilitation centers here in Pakistan. Where teams are assigned to help patients in recovering mental and emotional health.
Whereas in Pakistan, Patients who need to be handle with care and love have to go through a lot of troubles if he has to schedule an appointment for a regular checkup after Brain surgeries. They have to face the poor and rude behavior of the hospital staff. The sad thing is, the reason for their unsympathetic behavior towards us is that we are just another patient in their eyes and they don't care if we die in the process or if we scream in pain as long as we are paying them in full they are happy.
So, patients here are left alone to survive on their own in this cruel and competitive world with all these mental, physical, and emotional issues.
I have no idea whether these issues will be for a long time or a lifetime. But I am pretty optimistic about recovering from all these issues after some time. I will be extremely honest with you. I am trying really hard to overcome these issues and become in charge of my own life and carry it the way I want to carry. The hardest battle is the one that a person fights with himself. Sometimes, I get success, and sometimes I fail miserably. But I know for sure one day I will be free of all these health issues and be normal back again like once I was.
**In the end**,
I would like to thank these two wonderful and amazing platforms, Noise.cash and Read.cash, where I can be my self, write about my feelings, explore new ideas, do some research, do lovely interactions with an extremely friendly audience, and most importantly where I can spend my time with ease and peace.
Goal (Desired Outcome) & Milestones (Checkpoints/Tasks/Targets)
Greetings Readers,
Hope all of you are doing well.
So without wasting your time, let's begin with the article.
I am sure you must have got an idea about the article after seeing the title. So let me ask a few questions.
Have you ever set a goal in your life? Remember when you were a student, did you set a goal to get A+ in your examination? What was your plan to achieve this goal?
If you have done that, then I am confident you must have an idea about goals and breaking down the goal into small tasks also known as Milestones. Today, I am going to write in detail about this topic.
**What is a Goal?**
Goal is a desired result, long-term accomplishments, and statements, describing what you want to achieve in life in a specific time. Goal defines where you are heading. Goal gives you a purpose and helps you in guiding and leading your own life. It is just the ultimate destination that you aimed to reach. You must set a goal for personal or business growth, a goal that motivates you to achieve something in your life.
For example, you are on the ground floor and you want to reach the top floor, now this becomes your ultimate goal. You have to use the stairs to reach your goal. When you reach the top floor, you have succeeded in achieving the goal.
There are some steps that need to be taken to reach the goal, those steps are milestones.
**What is a milestone?**
Milestone literally means a stone serving as a milepost. A milepost is a marker set up on the road used to show us how distant a particular place is.
As the name implies, a milestone is a progress towards our goal.
A goal defines where you are heading and milestones will help you understand if you are actually heading in the right direction towards your set goal.
For example, if you want to visit Lahore from Islamabad. The total distance between Lahore and Islamabad is 374 KM. Now, this is the goal. You will reach Kalar Kahar which is 131 Km away on your journey to Lahore. Now, this is a milestone.
Milestones are a set of smaller accomplishments, strategies, and a series of major steps planned to reach the goal. It is a breakdown of an overall mission to small and measurable goals. Milestones act as targets that are used to establish whether the project is on the track or off the track. With the help of milestones, we can easily take a decision to proceed further or reset the milestone.
**A practical example from my professional life will help you in understanding the difference between goal and milestone.**
I am currently working as **Asst. Manager IT** in a real estate company. I am responsible for monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. I am also responsible for purchasing new IT equipment for the office and so basically, Coordination with the vendors is also part of that responsibility.
Last month, our Human Resource department initiated a request for a New Blade Server for the deployment of new Human Resource software for payroll and attendance. They asked us to deliver it as soon as possible. Deployment of the server was the main goal for us. Now for accomplishing this goal, we were required to divide it into a few steps or milestones.
After proper planning and discussion with the department and our authorized vendors, we decided to break this goal into four milestones. We asked for 10 working days for completing the goal of Purchasing & Deploying a new server.
**Milestone # 1**
After verbal approval, it was necessary to take a documented approval from the management for documentation purposes. It took only a day to achieve this milestone.
**Milestone # 2**
After taking approval from the management, we contacted our vendors to provide us a quotation for a particular server. They provided us the quotations within two days.
**Milestone # 3**
We selected the cheapest quotation and instructed the vendor to provide us that particular server. Vendor asks for five days as they have to purchase it from a buyer from another city far from here. And Courier Company will take five days to courier it.
**Milestone # 4**
Vendor completed the task and brought the server to our office. It took us only one day to successfully deploy and install the new server.
So, we were able to successfully the goal within the given time frame.
What key attributes must we keep in mind while setting a goal and its milestones? A goal and milestones must be **achievable**, **measurable**, **time-bounded**, **flexible**, and should have an **endpoint**.
You must set the milestones that can be **achievable**. There is no way I can build six packs within a week just because I am overweight with 300 Pounds. It must take a year to only lose that weight.
**Measurable** in a sense, can easily be measured and tracked to see if you are close to achieving the main goal.
**Time bounded** means to have a deadline. You must not take your whole life to complete one damn milestone. You must complete it in a specific time frame.
**Flexibility** is what you need the most. Try to accomplish all your milestones, but remember you won’t meet every milestone. Don’t be harsh on yourself if it happens. Move on and set another milestone.
You must know where to take a **start** and where you want to **end up**.
Now is the time to set a goal and purpose for your life. Stop living a life without a purpose and meaning. That is the difference that sets us apart from animals.
Your goal can be spiritual, emotional, financial, professional, social, or personal. Divide your goal into milestones. Determination is the only key that will help you achieve the milestones and accomplish the goal.
Be patient and get success step by step.
Never stop celebrating after successfully completing a milestone because Nelson Mandela has said that "Remember to celebrate milestones as you prepare for the road ahead".

Positive Health Effects After Quitting Smoking
Hello Everyone
I hope you guys are doing fine.
Everybody knows smoking is extremely injurious to health. Smoking not only affects your health but can also affect the people around you. I am sure that each and every one of you must have seen the disclaimer (Smoking is injurious to health. None of the actor in the movie promote or support smoking) in the movies. The irony is actors in the movies do not promote it but always try to make smoking look cool.
Smoking contains hazardous substances like acetone, tar, nicotine, and carbon monoxide which can lead to complications, life-threatening diseases like cancer, heart diseases, lung diseases, and diabetes, etc. It can lead to disabilities, and can nearly harm every part of the body. Smoking also increases the risk for tuberculosis, certain eye diseases, and problems with the immune system.
The most important which we totally ignore and consider less important is the side effects of passive smoking also called secondhand smoking. Secondhand smokers are those who are exposed to tobacco smoke air and inhale it. Both smokers and those secondhand smokers who are regularly exposed to it are at higher risk of a heart attack.
Thank God, I put an end to smoking and got an idea for writing a new article or otherwise, I would still be struggling in search of ideas for the article 😂. Just kidding.
**When and Why I started Smoking**
I was 18 years old when I started smoking. Fortunately, I was over 18 but the vast majority of adult smokers start smoking before age 18. There are plenty of reasons behind having the worst habit at such a young age. Worst for their physical and mental health.
Most of them begin smoking coz their parents are smokers and they are mostly influenced by it. Friends also play an important role in encouraging to smoke.
Some consider it a way of rebelling as they think it will make them look independent from others.
I started smoking because I thought it looks cool when I smoke and I find out it was a misconception after becoming mature enough.
Excitement to try new things is also the reason. Some try it for the first time and get addicted to it.
Tobacco companies play a very leading role coz they always portray smokers as cool and attractive. They try to trap kids by depicting smoking as fun.
The problem is the majority of them are sure that they won’t get addicted to it. Most of my friends and including me were also one of them. We had no idea how we get addicted to it.
I am sad to say movie actors also attract so many kids to start smoking. Have you seen *peaky blinders*? I bet you will get inspired to smoke by the character Thomas Shelby played by Cillian Murphy.
There are hundreds of wallpapers of him smoking, on the internet. You can google it if you think I am lying.
There are so many other examples of movie characters who made smoking attractive to the audience members. All of them made smoking looks like a fashion.
**What type of smoker I was**
So, I began smoking when I was 18 years old. I used to smoke less than 10 cigarettes a day in the beginning. But after smoking for some years, I started smoking 2 packets a day. I was an extremely heavy smoker.
**My first try at Smoking Withdrawal**
I tried so many times to quit smoking. In an attempt of leaving smoke, I decided to reduce smoking day by day. I eventually succeeded in it coz I used to smoke two packets but I reduced that ratio to only five smokes a day. And I got succeeded in quitting smoke. But I started it again after two months in a gathering. I puffed only one smoke which brought me to the habitual smoker.
**Final and Successful Try**
I would say the main motivation behind giving up smoking is my son as he was a blessing for me. I didn’t want my son to breathe in my tobacco hazardous smoke. It is every parent's wish to see their children living a healthy life. Which parents would want to harm their child’s health by exposure to smoking? No one.
So, I took a firm decision to quit smoking immediately on the spot. I aimed to not smoke even one smoke after taking this decision. This process of quitting was not an easy thing. The craving for nicotine was intense. I must say it was a tough and challenging psychological fight against my inner self. I felt Dizziness, anxiety, depression, and anger for weeks. But eventually, I got succeed in getting rid of smoking. I have not smoked for a year and I will not smoke again for the rest of my life.
**Positive effects of quitting smoking**
There are a lot of positive effects a person can feel after he quit smoking.
Smoking temporarily makes a person in a good mood with a dependence on it. Withdrawal can cause anxiety and the urge to smoke again. Fortunately, I have completed that phase and now my mood is not dependent on smoking anymore.
Smoking can dull your sense of smell and taste. Smokers have a poor sense of smell as compared to non-smokers. You can find your senses improving within days after quitting smoke. Now, I can feel the same as before I started smoking.
Smokers can be easily identified by observing their dry, coarse, and dark lips; dry and pale skin; and dark eye circles. Fortunately, the condition of my lips and skin are getting better day by day.
Smokers often release smoky odor. The problem is that smokers might not feel it but the people in the surrounding can feel it. Tobacco smoke can stick to your cloth, hair, and body which is really difficult to bear for others. My wife always complained about it when I used to smoke. And resolving your wives complaints can make your life a lot better ;)
Smoking is a total waste of money. Saving money is the most important effect after health. So I saved a lot of money to buy a helicopter now. I am joking again 😂
**In the last**, if you are a smoker and want to quit. Now is the time to quit it immediately. You can find so many tips on the internet on how to quit smoking. I am sharing my experience to motivate you guys to be nicotine-free.
If you have control over yourself you can do it. I had no control if I can control the triggers and craving, you can accomplish it too. Just find a hard personal reason which can motivate you to smoking withdrawal. There are so many health reasons but only personal reasons can help you in achieving it.
Be nicotine-free if you want to live a healthy, normal, and happy life.
Quit smoking for your family coz your family deserves a healthy life.
***Thank you for reading this article***
***If you have already given up smoking, Kindly share your experience with me I would love to view your experiences***

A Nasty Speed Breaker in My Noise.Cash Journey
Hi
I hope you guys are doing fine.
I had not received any free tips for a month or maybe more than a month as I mentioned in my previous article about my journey of noise.cash. I am not going to waste your time by the whole scenario. If you are interested in it, here is the link to that article. Go and check it out.
https://read.cash/@Usmanshoaib/my-journey-on-noisecash-52f6a3cb
So, after waiting for a long time on noise.cash for a free tip which they haven’t awarded me. I already gave it alot of thought to create a new account but I was hoping that maybe noise.cash will award me free tips. But it was just false hope. Now it was the right time to leave this account here and start this new journey with a new account.
**Let me assure you first**, getting free tips from noise.cash was not my main motive here. I am not using this platform for getting free money anymore. I want to become a valued member of BCH Community. To get respect from a community you must be on the list of its reputable members instead of being on the list of those who have a poor reputation. You must be trusted by the members of that community.
I aimed to leave the old life of a spammer which unfortunately I was when I joined noise. cash. I am eager to join and accompany BCH community now. I want to become a valued member of it. In chasing this goal, I had to abandon the account with 531 Subscribers.
Now I had to start the journey all over again with a new passion. The passion of achieving incredibly precious and which has no substitute i.e. gaining respect from all BCH Community. To become an essential member of the community.
I found it hard to leave my old account with those many subscribers. It was best to ask Noise.cash admin to do something about it, resolve this issue and give me a chance. So, I appealed to the admin to enable my account and remove me from the blacklist.
Unfortunately, I did not get any response from the admin. But I received a very rude response from another person which I did not expect. I am accepting my wrongdoing and trying to rectify it. I thought people will appreciate it as the severity of my breaking the rules was not much high. But this guy judged me very wrongly.
Anyways, I moved on and gathered the courage to create a new account. I made up my mind to delete my old account but unfortunately, there was no option of deactivating or deleting an account in noise.cash. I actually find it quite amusing. I requested noise.cash admin to do something about it, as I don’t want to get into trouble because of having two accounts. But once again, got no response.
I forgot the joy that comes when a person is given free tips by noise.cash. Thank God, I remembered back that feeling of joy when I got my free tip after a very long time 🤣. I shared the screenshot on my new account. In fact, I am sharing that screenshot with you guys if you can feel the happiness 🤣.
I am 100 % positive that it's not a dead-end for me. I consider it just a small barrier that is easy to overcome but will take some time. It's a challenge for me and I love to fulfill the challenge. Fulfilling a challenge uplift the feelings of accomplishment and happiness.
Now I have to start the journey all over again with a new passion. The passion of achieving incredibly precious and which has no substitute i.e. gaining respect from all BCH Community. I have to make myself bound to work hard for it. Explore new ideas to enhance my writing skills and improve my vocabulary. I am elated that I have already taken the initiative by writing two articles and received appreciation for them. A disciplined and consistent routine will lead to achieving the goal.
I prefer quality over quantity now. I want to have the most organic and genuine subscribers. Now I am liking it here now. Posting my own content in my own words is helping me in enhancing my writing skills and improving my vocabulary.
I have asked everyone to avoid technical errors and mistakes in the previous articles. I am not saying it today. I would be extremely happy if you identify those mistakes and educate me on how to correct them.
In the last, I will always be in need of constant guidance and motivation from BCH community. I know people are extremely good-hearted and friendly over here. They are willing and do not hesitate to help those who are in need.
**I would like to say thanks to those commendable and good-natured people who appreciated my transition from a spammer to the person who actually writes his own content and wants to be a part of this wonderful community.**
**In case if you want to find me on noise.cash. Here is the link to my new account** **https://noise.cash/u/UsmanSh**

Hi, I published an article yesterday. It was my 1st article. Today i published my 2nd article. It was published but i got a warning from read.cash. warning was "you are publishing too fast". My querry is will read.cash blacklist my account or wont reward my article? Kindly answer me if you about it.
My Journey On Noise.Cash
Greetings Readers,
I hope you are doing fine.
Kindly ignore if you spotted some mistakes and technical writing errors in this article as I do not claim to be a professional writer. I am writing here for fun and for motivating others to start writing even without having hard writing skills. So without wasting your precious time let's begin with the article.
I have spotted a lot of articles about people’s journey on this platform which leads me to think about sharing my own journey and experiences of noise.cash. I consider 2021 a bit lucky for me coz I was made familiar with noise.cash just 3 hours before 2021 arrival through a YouTube channel. I usually don’t like to try new things but fortunately, I wanted to give it a try. So I signed up and start using noise.cash. I was on medical leave for 2.5 months from the office because of my brain surgery, so I was totally free.
To be honest, my only aim was to earn from it as much as possible. I used to copy and paste quotes from other websites. So after earning more than 5 dollars, I thought to check whether this platform is legit or is it another scam. So I took one whole day to learn how to withdraw it because we cannot withdraw it easily into our bank accounts in Pakistan. I was unable to understand it coz the process was quite lengthy and difficult. So I asked about it on noise.cash and fortunately another fellow Pakistani helped me in understanding the process and finally, I withdraw it successfully. You can’t imagine the happiness I was feeling at that time, I was feeling on top of the world.
I was earning quite well but there was no inner satisfaction. Everyone was considering me a knowledgeable person because I used to share wonderful quotes. But that quotes were not mine. I used to copy that quotes. That was the reason for the deprivation of peace of my mind. I thought of myself as a cheater. So, I took an oath to start posting my own content and start interacting with people through my posts. And I did that and I am currently doing that. I wanted to become a valued member of Bitcoincash community.
An upvote from read.cash bot on my first article forced me to consider myself a valued member of BCH community. But the only thing which is stuck in mind is that noise.cash has not given me any free tip for almost a month. I have no idea I am blacklisted or what. But it does not stop me from posting good quality content. And I am sure one day noise.cash will give me free tips and I will start giving it to other people again.
When I started using noise.cash, the price of BCH was 380 USD. It crossed 700 USD while i was using this platform. My three months on noise.cash will be completed on 31st, March 2021.
I currently own 0.096 BCH, thanks to noise.cash, and read.cash. I have made it my goal to earn 1 BCH by the end of this year.
We Pakistanis, always want to become billionaires overnights. We are hard workers but the problem with us is that we don't want the pace of earning to be slow. So after starting using noise.cash, I thought it was a bit slow. But slowly I made plenty of money. Now, whenever I show my BCH to other friends they immediately get motivated to start using it.
My advice to you guys is, If you are a newbie on noise.cash or an old user, Don't copy-paste stuff. Post your own stuff which can be about anything i.e your day to day activity, your life related, motivational and so many other things.
Also, start writing your own articles. If you cant write in English, start writing it in your native languages but follow some basic rules given by read.cash. If you know basic English, start writing. Don't worry about the ideas, ideas will come into your mind once you start writing.

Should Cancer Survivors and Battlers Considered as Heroes?
Hi
I hope you are doing fine.
Please avoid if there are any mistakes as I am not a professional writer.
Five years ago, I was watching a WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) episode, in which a seven-year-old Kiara Grindrod meet WWE Superstars. John Cena and Sting. They welcomed her like she was some kind of a hero. It made me think why these superstars are honoring this kid. And the amount of respect they have for this kid, does she deserve that respect. She has not achieved anything exceptional. It’s very sad that she got cancer but happily, she is cancer-free and healthy now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P4fKTJtc5g
I was the dumbest person at that moment. I had no idea about cancer treatment procedures. That was my stupid thinking at that time.
Unfortunately, I learned the lesson the hard way. I started having severe headaches. Those headaches were very intense and sudden. I got an appointment with a Neurosurgeon. He suggested me MRI and after a complete report, it was diagnosed that I have puss-filled swelling in my brain. After viewing the report, it was like the ground beneath my feet, slips away. It was an extremely anxious moment for me because I have never suffered from such a deadly disease. My anxiety was exacerbated by the doctor saying that it could be cancer. I had to go through two major surgeries; one for removal of puss, tumor, and skull bone infected by infection, and other surgery was performed for placing mesh inside. Fortunately, it was a benign tumor after the biopsy report came. The treatment took 1.8 years and it is still going on at the same very moment while I am writing this article.
The purpose of writing about my illness in such detail is to make you guys feel and understand the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual state of a person suffering from a serious disease.
**Quality of Life affected By Cancer**
Quality of life becomes worsen for cancer patients. Imagine a person with psychological problems like stress, depression, difficulties to meet basic demands; some physiological side-effects - hair loss, pain, tiredness, nausea, vomiting; some Social obstacles like social isolation. Changes in body image as many cancer patients have major amputations and major body changes in physical function can maximize the lack of self-esteem. Which will lead the patient to avoid social interaction.
Fortunately, it was a narrow escape for me from cancer. But after two brain surgeries, I will face some lifetime complications like tiredness, change in mood, anxiety, not remembering things, unable to concentrate sometimes, feeling dizzy sometimes, minor headaches, etc. Now imagine how worse will be the condition of a cancer survivor or patient who goes through so many difficult and harmful therapies and major surgeries.
**Disappointment from Family & Friends (Sometimes)**
Cancer affects not only the patient but also the family of a patient. Family may react in a different way. Some families are very supportive and some start acting differently towards the patient. In my case, I felt extremely worse when I was fully dependent on my family. I never wanted to put my burden on someone else. I know, asking for help is ok but I considered it a weakness. And according to my opinion, many patients who are self-sufficient will consider in need of others tough and painful.
Also, constant pain can sometimes make a person angry, sad, or frustrated. Sometimes, the family fails to understand that feeling of emotions which leads the patient to have the feelings of being alone.
**Painful Treatment of cancer**
Any type of pain, not just cancer pain, can affect all parts of a person's life. Some days it may be better or worse than others.
Cancer itself causes enough pain. Different surgeries, treatments, and tests are conducted in different types of cancer which can cause unimaginable pain. Joint pain, Muscle pain, Bone pain, Skin reactions, abdominal pains, chest pains, headaches are the different forms of pain during the tough therapies of cancer.
You cannot imagine the worst feeling of a person going through any kind of these pains and he must cope with most of the pain for a lifetime.
**Coping With Pain**
Not only cancer pain but any type of pain can affect all parts of a person's life. Day-to-day activities are affected as you cannot function well if you have pain. Sleeping and eating might feel difficult. And anyone can feel frustrated, sad, and angry if he is in pain.
**It takes a lot of Determination to Battle Cancer**
Cancerous cells are cells that have gone rogue. A person battling cancer means he has to fight his own body to take charge of it. It takes a lot of determination, strength, and spirit to fight and survive cancer. Those who don't have extreme power of will to live cannot survive it.
**In the last,**
Now you guys correct me if I am wrong. Should we consider cancer survivors and those who are still in the battle with cancer, a hero? Survivors, who have gone through such emotional trauma and pain and battlers, who are still going through tough emotional, physical, and psychological phases of their life, should we consider them heroes?
I consider them heroes and they need our support and love. They deserve our respect.
Imagine, a kid, whose age is to play and enjoy life, is battling cancer. In the age where he must be loved and shown affection by everyone, is going through extremely painful procedures. In the age where he does not even know what life means, is finding how hard life can be. If that kid survived all those tough experiences, he smiles through it and starts enjoying life again. That kid was a warrior while he was fighting cancer and is a hero after surviving it. And sadly, if he failed to survive, he died as a hero.
I tried to reflect on the tough and emotional life of cancer survivors and battlers. I hope I have accurately and perfectly portrayed the state of mind of both.
