Technology has brought us so much closer. I remember when my uncle was in Kuwait in the 90s. He used to call once a month coz the telephone cards were so expensive there. We used to fill tape cassettes with all the talks and write letters to him. I am so glad the technology has advanced to a level that people can video call and talk to their loved ones and it feels like they are in front of them. Otherwise, it would be hard for me to survive even a week away from my son but video call has made the distance a little tolerable for me.
