Afghanistan is also called the graveyard of empires. The reason for calling it GOE is because many superpowers tried to invade and they could not establish a stable and permanent rule. They were not able to subdue them completely. Starting from Alexander and then British invaded it but they could not establish a stable rule as they did in India and other countries. Then comes the Soviet Union, which resulted in the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Then the US invaded Afghanistan and they were present in Afghanistan for 20 years but eventually, they also lost trillion dollars and Afghanistan fall into the hands of the same Taliban which the US was fighting against. One of the reasons behind failing all these superpowers to establish a stable rule is because of the geography of Afghanistan as it is a mountainous region and the deserts that make it difficult to move. The other reasons are that the people of Afghanistan are tough and they are loyal to their clans. They prefer death over subdue.
