Pakistan has won the match. I wanted it to be one-sided as I wanted to see the new Zealand team get trashed for canceling a tour in Pakistan only one hour before the match was about to start and ran away. I thought we would get revenge by trashing them but it didn't happen. Still, it's better to win than lose. The match was about to become a thriller but it got saved by the experience of Shoaib Malik and the agressiveness of Asif Ali. I have never seen our team perform so well at the start of any major ICC events. They didn't even perform well at the start in the trophies they win. They are a completely changed team now.
