It is mutual respect and growth in both good and bad times. People should always be connected to one another in order to support one another. Keep an open mind when it comes to learning. Keep an open heart in order to assist. People helping you grow to deserve to be helped once you've matured. There should be no such thing as your "something for nothing" philosophy. How can you expect future assistance unless you give something in exchange for it?
