Who Needs Logical Fallacies?

Fallacies are tools of deception. Fallacies are called arguments that fail to be logically valid but are somehow accepted based on false or fake logic. People often use fallacies to promote an idea. The purpose is to show reasons/logic that are fake reasons/logic. And on the way, people use fallacies to promote or sell an idea that is not worth it. For example, "Dinosaurs used to eat vegetables and are extinct. So, eating vegetables is bad. Don't eat vegetables." This logic is not only valid but is also ridiculous. People often utilize fallacies to win debates. People use logical fallacies in support of their wrong opinions and views. In debates, people take help from logical fallacies to push their motions. Confident debaters shamelessly use fake metaphors and examples. For example, politicians forcefully argue with logical fallacies and try to woo voters with fake propaganda during election campaigns. Parliamentarians never shy away from referring to logical fallacies in their deliberations in the parliament. Marketing people use fallacies to promote or sell an idea or a product. Marketing personnel often use logical fallacy to promote an idea/product. A marketer can distort or manipulate facts, draw false conclusions, and purposefully distract customers from the actual issues/problems. The marketer sounds knowledgeable and confident, even if their stance doesn't make logical sense. The marketer often points toward a false cause for a phenomenon. For example, a biometrics technology marketer always propagates an assumed false narrative, "Biometrics improves security," whereas the truth is the opposite. A Bitcoin promoter (or the so-called Bitcoin maximalist) always shows fake reasons to claim Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency. Fallacies can be defeated by critical thinking. Marketers will always employ fallacies to promote/sell an idea/product. Being logical and rational is the only way to combat the evil effects of fallacies. We can detect fallacies when we utilize our minds and brain to think critically. Only critical thinking can help us identify fallacies and eliminate the evil charms of fallacies. Conclusion Fallacies are tools of deception. People use fallacies to promote an idea or product. Being logical and rational is the only way to combat the evil effects of fallacies. ***Cheers!*** ***Unity (********Debesh Choudhury**********)***** https://twitter.com/debeshchoudhury/
