One can become a "smart" (skilled) worker with hard work ONLY! Often, we hear people saying, "Work smart, not hard." One cannot work "smart" without putting "hard" work before. Next time a career coach or guru preaches about "smart" work over "hard" work, reject that person as an advisor! Because the career coach or guru is either telling a lie or preaching a half-truth. Conclusion If you want to master a skill, work hard on it. Practice can only help you reach near perfection. When a skill is acquired through hard practice sessions beforehand, any new work in the area is achievable with the skill already acquired.
