Could ReadCash Stop Taking Percentage of Upvotes?

The ReadCash bloggers are contributors to BCH promotion.

The promotion of Bitcoin Cash has been here through the blogging community.

  • Every blogger and other users who publish and engage on ReadCash are active contributors toward the promotion of Bitcoin Cash.

  • Every ReadCash engagement counts for promoting Bitcoin Cash in a small way. The cumulative effect of the blogging, commenting, and resharing of the ReadCash content on other social media networks is significant.

Whether you agree or not, we have been contributing tirelessly toward promoting Bitcoin Cash along with the founders of ReadCash, and the Noise(Cash)App.

As of today, there are no random rewards or any other supports from the platform now.

  • A random rewarder distributed algorithmic random Bitcoin Cash upvotes like airdrops on many other platforms. A huge number of bloggers joined, contributed, and collected random upvotes.

The program for random rewards was stopped a few days ago. As of today, there is no algorithmic support from ReadCash.

  • Is the platform still taking the regular "percentage of commission" from all Bitcoin Cash upvotes?

Could ReadCash stop taking the "percentage of commission" of the upvotes on the platform?

The platform no longer supports bloggers for writing on ReadCash, and a part of the blogging community is still contributing without any support.

In these circumstances, it would be a good gesture if the platform considers stop taking the so-called "percentage of commission" from every upvote on the ReadCash content.

ReadCash may consider supporting the upvoters (bloggers).

Promoting Bitcoin Cash may continue with the limited bloggers who are still active in publishing and upvoting each others.

  • The founders of ReadCash may consider a new way of supporting the bloggers/readers who are still upvoting on ReadCash blogs from their savings.

  • Maybe, a token-matching reward to the bloggers who still upvote will be a good option to adopt.

The founders and the insider members may suggest a better strategy. Whatever the way, there must be a new strategy to support the existing "active bloggers" supporting Bitcoin Cash promotion.

Concluding thoughts

  • There is still a way to promote Bitcoin Cash by supporting the active ReadCashers.

  • It is up to the founders of ReadCash what they wish to do.

I foresee a new horizon where a new Sun will rise.

Cuando todo se pone negro u oscuro es que viene la claridad, esperemos que vendrá, a lo mejor viene algo muy bueno para las recompensas, esperemos con paciencia.

The excellent infrastructure behind Read.cash costs real money.
They need to charge a fee somehow,
to avoid going down "Subscription Road" or diving off "Advertiser Cliff".
Noise.App has no BCH function. (Soon® ?)
Noise.Cash is being shuttered.
Read.Cash is the only real (BCH) option for attracting MicroAuthors,
who need a frictionless onramp.
The only way Read.Cash can survive is feeding off of low-friction microfees.
A random rewarder based on
"...a finite rewarding system based on the engagement
(number of reads, comments, reply to comments, etc.)" { @Unity }
would be nice to see, yes.

You rightly said it.

And, YES, sadly, NoiseApp has tried to get rid of the BCH connection. So, ReadCash is the only blogging platform that has BCH as the only/default upvoting instrument.

I think it is 10 not 20%

Yes, it is 10, not 20 percent. I have corrected it. Thanks for the correction.

I thought the same but I think it's looking at both the sender and receiver? Maybe I'm wrong

To my knowledge, recipient gets 10% less. If I tip $1, the recipient gets $0.90. That's why I always tip $1.11 so that the recipient gets $1.

The thing I wonder about is whether or not the founders and funders of read.cash have completely abandoned the project, or are simply now monitoring the viability of it going forward, wanting to see what we do with it? Us. The users. And to see whether or not we "change our tune."

I have said multiple times I would hate to see read.cash simply vanish as I think it remains to be a great place to write and interact and even share BCH.

It is sad that the added incentive of Rusty is gone now. At the same time, as I have also said multiple times, I think too many people "gamed" the system, and simply took but didn't add to the tips by tipping and sharing some—which in part is what I think the founders wanted to happen.

Either way, all I can do, and all anyone can do, is to continue to be active here and hope that we are active enough and doing our part enough that no one sees fit to yank the entire thing down.

Only time will tell. IF we do our part, MAYBE they come back and make some alterations to the way things go here? Who knows? And THEY aren't saying much if anything at all about what they intend to do.

So, really, it's anyone's guess. lol

Let us accept that ReadCash has existed to promote (sell) Bitcoin Cash to the people. If this purpose is absent, the platform becomes purposeless for the founders. Moreover, the larger blogging community won't accept it as a pure blogging platform.

If there is no way of finite monetization on ReadCash, there is little hope that educated bloggers will come here. I am happy that the very vague random rewards stopped. There should have been a finite rewarding system and quality assessment. Sorry to say that most of the top rewarded posts were BS!

20 percent may possible go less but may be can't go zero because plateform also need funds to run the system.
I agreed to you , we are the ambassadors of the brand BCH . We think , we talk , we communicate , we aware others about this brand.

BCH promotion is the platform's primary cause, and that can't come at the cost of the bloggers' valuable time! The platform must pay for bloggers' time and contribution! The random reward was a rough and erroneous way of giving a gift. I am happy that it is stopped. Instead, there must be a finite reward as per bloggers' contributions.

The Sun won't rise free of cost. The platform my have to invest more money in it!

Personally I don't mind the service fee. It helps to keep it running and for further development. I know I would not want to be running a platform that cost money. Let's hope for a new sun, but I think it needs to start from all of us.

The platform should have stopped the random rewarding system long ago. Instead, they could/should have installed a finite rewarding system based on the engagement (number of reads, comments, reply to comments, etc.)

The platform's primary purpose is to promote (sell) BCH to the masses. Why should mainstream bloggers join without any SEO feature to put the posts indexed by search engines? There MUST be an SEO feature.

"Instead, they could/should have installed a finite rewarding system based on the engagement (number of reads, comments, reply to comments, etc.)"

It would have been nice to see that kind of system. I agree with SEO feature that gives good quality content or interests for others to see.
