No need for yearly voter registration any longer. Voting on the blockchain environment means there is no need for any paper or electronic voting registration. The secured blockchain account acts as each voting persons one time registration. If a private key or password is ever lost, the account is also forever lost. By default that lost account will never be able to vote on GOVoteX again.
No human error or tampering. Because of using the already secure blockchain, human errors or temptation to harm the election process is extremely minimal. The GOVoteX app cost $5.99 to download but cost $1.99 for every vote cast. Why charge for people to vote? The reason for the small voting fee, each time a person votes is to make sure people have “skin in the game”. If people have to pay just a small fee each time they vote on the GOVoteX application they will keep in mind the seriousness of the decisions they are making, for themselves and their community. Also if people vote a government official out of office and that person needs assistance safely vacating the position, GOVoteX will make available the necessary people to help them.
