Hello everyone! I'm Stefan, a passionate photographer, author, blogger, traveler and adventurer! I photograph mainly in big cities and like to be on the road with my camera especially at sunset and in the twilight. I love to work with long exposure times and people call me an expert in the field of Lensball Photography. I'm very excited to join the Noise.cash communitiy and share my passions with you here ๐Ÿ“ธ ๐ŸŒ ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚ It's really difficult to take photos in the city centre of Tirana at the moment, as there are many spectacular building projects under construction ๐Ÿข You can hardly avoid having construction cranes and half-finished high-rise buildings in the background. Even the skyscraper in this shot is not quite finished yet. Nevertheless, it was my absolute favourite building in the Albanian capital ๐Ÿ–ค So I gave it this shiny, metallic look in post-processing and added an autumnalโ€ฆ

T@Travelshots

The Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art is an impressive example of modern architecture in Oslo ๐ŸŒ The building is situated on Tjuvholmen in the centre of the city and was opened in September 2012. I really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere there while taking a few long exposures just before sunset ๐ŸŒ‡ #photography

Bucharest has some great photo spots to offer, but my favourite one I found on a sidewalk in a quiet street near the old town. There was a puddle in which I just placed my crystal ball and captured it with the lowest possible aperature of my lens (F2.8). So I got this wonderful reflection and the nice bokeh in the background ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค #photography

T@Travelshots

Today I would like to show you a Blue Hour shot that I took last summer in the beautiful Polish city of Gdansk. Due to the northern location the Blue Hour lasted really long there and I had enough time to capture the amazing contrasts and the fascinating reflections in the water ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงก

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ”บ๏ธ๐Ÿ’› It was not easy to find great photo spots in Chisinau - especially not places that would be particularly suitable for glass ball photography. But the so-called "Riffle Monument" immediately attracted my attention. I think this shot looks a bit futuristic and utopian, it could be taken from a science fiction movie - exactly my taste! #photography #lensball

T@Travelshots

It's always nice to cross the Danube and the Danube Island in a train of the Vienna subway ๐Ÿš„ From the overground stations you can often enjoy great views - like here on the Millinum Tower in the background, which was Austria's tallest skyscraper for many years and still ranks second in this category ๐ŸŒ‡ #photography #vienna #austria

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค I took this Lensball shot inside the commercial, cultural, entertainment and leisure centre "Bรกlna" in Budapest. The surface of this bench reminded me of a Lego brick and I like how the round shapes harmonize with the bokeh effects in the background and the glass ball ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค #photography #lensball

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ“ท This photo spot at Business Bay offered me a unique view of Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. I really like the silky water surface in this picture and how the bridge forms a frame for the skyscrapers ๐Ÿ™๏ธ #photography #dubai

T@Travelshots

Pedestrian Bridge + Lensball Photography = Always a good Combination ๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ“ท๐Ÿ˜Ž #photography #lensball #vienna

๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’› Some great photos require hours of planning. For others, all you have to do is be in the right place at the right time and press the shutter button at the right moment. This picture definitely belongs to the second category. Nevertheless, it is my favourite shot of the pictures I took in Thessaloniki. #photography #greece #thessaloniki #sunset

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚ Park benches belong to my favourite subjects for crystal ball photography, because it's easy to use their boards as leading lines that direct the viewer's attention to the sphere. Another advantage is that you don't need a tripod for long exposure times, as you can place the camera directly on the bench in front of the glass ball. #photography #lensball

๐ŸŒƒ๐Ÿ“ธ Hey guys, hope you're all having a great weekend! Today I'd like to show you a before and after editing comparison. The first picture is the edited one, the second one is the RAW file how it came straight out of my cam. How do you like this edit? What you see here is the Danube Canal, Urania Observatory and Uniqa Tower in Vienna ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น Camera: Sony A7RIII Lens: Sony 16-35 F2.8 G-Master Settings: 16mm - F11.0 - 30 sec. - ISO100 Edited in Adobe Lightroom & Photoshopโ€ฆ

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎ Sometimes it doesn't need any spectacular landscape or impressive building to take an interesting Lensball shot. For this one, my subject was just a bare tree. You you like it anyway ๐Ÿ˜Š #lensball #glassball #crystalball #photography

T@Travelshots

Light trails ๐Ÿ’ซ drifting clouds โ˜๏ธ silky smooth water ๐ŸŒŠ and lens flares ๐ŸŒŸ - I like this shot because it combines all the essential style elements of long exposure photography. By the way, the building on the right is the unique Oslo Opera House - one of the main sights of the Norwegian capital ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด #longexposure #photography #oslo #norway

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎโ›ช The church of all saints is one of the most beautiful and impressive buildings in the Belarusian capital of Minsk and fit pretty well into my crystal ball ๐Ÿ‘€ #lensball #crystalball #glassball #photography

T@Travelshots

๐ŸŒ‰๐ŸŒƒ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ The impressive view of the Chain Bridge and the Danube in Budapest gave me the idea for this Photoshop composition. It consists of two single shots. For the first one I focused with an open aperture on the railing, in order to separate it from the background, that I wanted to display as blurry as possible. As a result, of course the circle in the middle was blurry too. That's why I cut it out and put the second picture underneath, which I shot with aperture F11.0 and 30โ€ฆ

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ป In August this year I decided to spend a few days in Olso to explore the Norwegian capital with my camera. With the unique Akrobaten Bridge I found my first interesting subject for Lensball photography already on the first day ๐Ÿ”ฎ It's a 206 meter long pedestrian bridge that stretches across the tracks of Oslo central station. By the way: I took this shot on the international World Photography Day! ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿฅณ #lensball #photography #norway

๐ŸŒ™๐ŸŒ†๐Ÿ•Œ The district "Deira" in Dubai has a completely different character than the hypermodern districts of the city. Here you can find many traditional souks, mosques, or taxi boats. On the roof of a parking garage I found this amazing hidden photo spot to enjoy the Arabian flair during sunset and blue hour ๐Ÿ’™ #photography #dubai

T@Travelshots

I took this picture at the Croatian coast last year in Summer ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ท This sunset was really amazing and I was glad that I had my lensball with me ๐Ÿ”ฎ ...and a model who didn't get tired of jumping until I got the perfect shot ๐Ÿ˜‰ #lensball #photography

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŒƒ๐Ÿงก On my first photo tour in Warsaw I took one of my favourite light trail pictures ever ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ƒ The building in the background is the palace of cultures and science. Although it was finished in 1955, it's still the highest skyscraper of the city and the whole country as well. By the way, this is also the cover image of my book "Long Exposure Photography quick and easy". You can take a look at it here, if you are interested ๐Ÿ˜Š: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0932FZ53N

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ BURNING LENSBALL ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ โš ๏ธ Please don't try this at home - it's just a Photoshop composing ๐Ÿ˜‰ In the background you can see a part of the amazing Dragon Bridge in Da Nang ๐Ÿฒ #lensball #photography

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ“ท๐ŸŒƒ๐Ÿ˜Ž I took this shot on my first photo tour in the beautiful city of Minsk, where and found some nice spots. This picture is not photoshopped by the way. It's pretty easy to create this effect by just zooming out during an exposure time of a few seconds. #photography #minsk #belarus

T@Travelshots

When I was in Oslo last summer, I tried using my 85mm portrait lens with maximum aperture of F1.8 for crystal ball photography ๐Ÿ”ฎ This allowed me to get huge bokeh effects in the background ๐ŸŒŸ Since the sharp area is extremely narrow with this open aperture and long focal length, the reflections on the surface of the glass ball created some more small bokeh effects. How do you like this shot? ๐Ÿ“ธ #lensball #crystalball #glassball #photography

T@Travelshots

๐ŸŒƒ๐Ÿ–โšซ๏ธ This photo spot in front of the Liberty Bridge in Budapest offers space for only one tripod. The first two times, when I wanted to take pictures there at blue hour, it was already occupied. The third time I came already before sunset to make sure that I could finally implement my idea of this Photoshop composition, which consists of two single shots. In the end I was pretty happy with the result. Hope you like it too! #photography #budapest

T@Travelshots

๐ŸŽก๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ“ธ During a walk through the amusement park "Prater" in Vienna, I noticed a puddle in front of the "Grand Autodrom". Luckily I had my Lensball with me, put it in the puddle and was able to shoot this picture. Hope you like it ๐Ÿ˜Š #lensball #photography

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ™๏ธ Dubai Water Canal is one of my favourite photo spots in the unique desert metropolis. On the right side you can see the two 355m high towers of the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel. For comparison: They are even 30m higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris! Nevertheless, they are only the second tallest hotel buildings in the world. But guess where you can find the tallest one - of course in Dubai as well ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ–ค I really enjoyed my time in the beautiful Albanian coastal town of Saranda in September this year, and with this ferris wheel I even found an interesting subject for crystal ball photography. I used an open aperture for this shot to get some impressive bokeh effects in the background and took some time in post-processing to find a decent color ggrading ๐ŸŽก๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎ

T@Travelshots

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿš‹๐ŸŒฅ The typical yellow and orange trams are a characteristic part of Budapest's cityscape. That's why I always kept my eyes open for opportunities to integrate them into my photos. I achieved my best result with this shot in front of the Liberty Bridge under a cloudy sky after a rain shower. #photography #budapest

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’™ Unexpectedly I found even a nice spot for my glass ball photography at the Fisherman's Bastion in Budapest. There was a fountain with some wet stone slabs that I used as a mirror ๐Ÿชž #lensball #glassball #crystalball #photography

T@Travelshots

In this photo you can see the Mirabello Fortress and the old town of Omiลก, reflected in the Cetina River, which flows into the sea in this beautiful Dalmatian costal town that I visited for a few days ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™ #photography #croatia

T@Travelshots

๐ŸŒ ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒƒ Sometimes I like using park benches for my Lensball photography, because they are great for creating straight lines that lead the eye of the beholder from the corners of the image to the main subject. For this shot I chose a closed aperture and a long exposure time because I didn't want to blur the foreground too much, to keep these lines clear and sharp and because I wanted to get these massive lens flare effects on the street lanterns. #lensball #photography

T@Travelshots

๐ŸŒ‡ Sometimes I like getting a bit creative in Photoshop ๐Ÿ˜Š This double exposure consists of a portrait I took last year in summer and a sunset in NYC. I hope you like it. #doubleexposure #portrait #photography

Good evening from Graz, my home city and the second largest plus fastest growing city of Austria ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น With the "Murinsel" I found nice spot to use my Lensball here. It's an artificial island in the river that runs through the city. The tunnel-like roof construction in combination with the glass ball creates a pretty cool effect, that I underlined with a radial blur filter ๐Ÿ’ฅ #graz #austria #lensball #photography

T@Travelshots

"Kunsthaus Graz" is the modern landmark of the Styrian capital. With its biomorphic, round forms it really stands out from the baroque old town and the red tiled roofs. That's one of the reasons why the house of art is also called "friendly alien" by the citizens of Graz ๐Ÿ‘ฝ #graz #austria #photography

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿš‰๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ– Graz Central Station is the most frequented train station in Austria, outside of Vienna and it has been voted the most beautiful railway station of the country several times. In the last few years it has been modernized and a new roof construction was built, which I captured a few days ago with my glass ball. I really like the symmetry in this shot and used an open aperture to get some nice bokeh effects in the background. #lensball #photography #austria #graz

T@Travelshots

I love shooting in subway stations ๐Ÿš‡ Unfortunately my hometown Graz has no subway, but luckily there is an underground tram station at the main railway station that I explored with my cam ๐Ÿ“ธ The light trails of the passing tram in combination with the modern architecture gave me the opportunity to make this picture look a bit futuristic. Hope you like this style ๐Ÿ˜Ž #photography #graz #austria

T@Travelshots

โค๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงก What is even better than using puddles for your photography? Of course combining a puddle and a crystal ball! This is one of my favourite glass ball shots From all my Lensball shots, this is the one that looks the most like Christmas somehow ๐Ÿ˜‰ Wish you all a merry Christmas! ๐ŸŽ„โ›„๐ŸŽ…

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿš‡ Subway stations are usually places you rush through - places you want to leave as soon as possible. Very often, you don't even notice their beauty. So it happened that a woman approached me when I stood behind my tripod and my camera and photographed this corridor. She asked me what I was doing there. She didn't understand at all what should be worth photographing about this corridor, which she perhaps walks through every day. Maybe she would understand, if she looked atโ€ฆ

I took this shot at "Wat Suan Dok" - my favourite temple in Thailand's city of temples: Chiang Mai ๐Ÿ›•๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ #lensball #photography #thailand

T@Travelshots

I actually took this nightly phone shot to use it for a photoshop composing. The display content should have been replaced by another image. However, as the editing progressed, I liked it better and better with the smartphone's home screen, so I decided to leave it as is. Hope you like it too! ๐Ÿ“ฑ #photography

T@Travelshots

It's always nice to be in the capital of my home country and as a fan of modern architecture, the "Donau City" district of Vienna is a great playground for me and my cam ๐Ÿ“ธ By the way, the building on the left is the DC Tower - Austria's tallest skyscraper with a height of 250 meters ๐Ÿ™๏ธ

T@Travelshots

๐Ÿš† Vienna Central Station was opened only a few years ago - in 2014. So, for the first time in history, the Austrian capital had a real central train station. From an architectural point of view, the roof construction above the platforms is particularly interesting. Here I tried to capture it with my glass ball. Hope you like the result ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ“ธ #lensball #photography

With this blue hour shot from the wonderful city of Gdansk in Poland I wish you all happy new year 2022! ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฅ‚๐ŸŽ†
