Do you guys think NFT's as purely artwork will still be prevalent in 15 years? It's hard for me to envision any NFT to really be worth something in 15 years that doesn't have some utility. For example, video game NFT's make sense and give power to players and the dev community. I can see that sticking around 'forever'. The same concept I apply to blockchains too though. How many of these thousands of blockchains will be around in 20-30 years? I can only envision blockchains that hold true utility make sense to stick around. Or maybe this is why I am not a crypto billionaire lol

Art NFTs: 1-5% of the current volume. Current utility NFTs: maybe up to 50% of current volume. Novel utility NFTs: majority of the rest of total volume. Because there's so much more NFTs can be used for. We barely scratched the surface yet IMO
RIGHT. I think what we think of as NFT's today will be totally different in 10 years. For example, I can see all concert tickets or professional sport tickets to be digital NFT's. Which would make sense. You own it and can with it as you see fit. So you show it to let you into the event, and then you can keep it (if it doesn't get burned) after the event. You buy a car? you get a NFT style "title" to state you own the car. It could even be located on the United States Car Blockchain. You know something practical lol
I think art nfts will be a thing for a long while yet. To many people like collecting things. As for the many many offshoot blockchains, those raise and fall all the time so it's quite possible that they won't be around forever, or even a year. I think those with a strong community and some good games and such will last. I think eventually the amount of click/stake and click games are going to click since it turns out they aren't actually fun.
Very good analysis. Totally agreed. Especially with clickers who name themselve as crypto-games
