Supposedly, you get higher payout for that planet if you hold the staking tokens? I have never actually seen anything change when I did this. Worth a short to try it out, they have been making updates slowly in 2022 so.... Cursory glance at Google results shows conflicting reports. Some say it gives you voting power for the DAO, others say you increase yield per mine. Idk, honestly. They do not mention yield increase on homepage, just that it lets you stake and vote for your DAO.
I wouldnt have a clue my friend but tipped because that's what I do esp for friends :D
