I got a new SCAM that I want to share with all you so you are aware. Last night I got a odd direct message in Discord. What was weird was it appeared as if it was coming from the Splinterlands Channel but it was a Direct Message. To the untrained eye it would appear legit. It had a @everyone tag, it had the same graphics and even a Copyright tag. It even had proper grammar and english. But there 2 areas that jumped out to me right away that told me it was a scam 1) It came from a "USER" who was called "Splinterlands.com" and that person was offline. If someone posts a msg in a channel/server with the @everyone tag it will NOT send a Direct Message to you 2) The website they want you go to go to was not Splinterlands.com like it appeared but Splinterlands.art. And because I am a curious sole I went there in a separate environment and my gosh the people behind this scam went through a lot of work to make it look legit. But honestly F them for trying to scam people. This goes along with my biggest pet peeve with Crypto projects. Which is how they chose to communicate to their users. If Splinterlands only communicated to their users via their own website so many more people who consider this a scam and not be fooled. But since it was on Discord where they have a server and it looks legit enough I guarantee you that people are falling for this.
