I made a cutting board yesterday (well I finished it yesterday) The main part of the board is Red Oak, I forget what the 4 strip of darker color are though.

Good work. It must feel nice and smooth and heavy. I also like the knife.

  yeah it's a SOLID piece of wood for sure lol and I sanded that stupid thing down with 40 grit, then 80 grit then 120 grit then like 220 grit so it's butter smooth :) The knife is old but it works :)

Do you just use regular carpenter glue? Also, what did you use for the finish? Oil?
