A hard fork of Bitcoin Cash was planned. It resulted in the creation of 2 separate chains, Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN) and Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) . Apparently, it would be the first to win, and hands down. BCHN had been favored by Roger Ver, the main instigator of Bitcoin Cash .
Bitcoin Cash deposits and withdrawals interrupted by Coinbase
This new episode in the Bitcoin Cash saga has prompted some exchanges to freeze BCH deposit and withdrawal operations . Coinbase notably made this announcement, specifying that the situation would be regularized " when the update is stable ".
Internal wars
Just as conflicts between clans of the Bitcoin community led to the Bitcoin Cash fork , we are witnessing the same phenomenon within the BCH faction . There are now 2 camps:
Bitcoin Cash ABC : led by Amaury Séchet, this camp campaigns for rapid technical developments in the blockchain. It mainly brings together developers
Bitcoin Cash Node : Led by Roger Ver, this faction also wants to evolve BCH , but in a more sequential way
The 8% tax
The big bone of contention is the 8% tax on minors . Indeed, the Séchet clan wanted to tap 8% of the miners' income (reward per block) in order to finance the development of Bitcoin Cash . The Ver clan removed the code for this coinbase rule , hence the current fork.
