"Literature of going on an invitation" One of the etiquettes of feasting is that if someone is invited to a feast and he is very hungry, then he should eat something from home and go to the feast by which the intensity of hunger has decreased somewhat. To gather hunger by skipping meals and then when the time comes to eat, becoming impatient and breaking down, this is against dignity. Hisham bin Hasan, may God have mercy on him, narrates that whenever Imam Muhammad bin Sirin, may God have mercy on him, was invited to a wedding or celebration, he would come to his house before leaving and say: Give me a little satwa. It was said: O Abu Bakr! You're drinking satu even though you're going to a wedding right now? So he used to say: I do not like to break down on people's food with the intensity of my hunger.
