My husband brought home bantam chickens. The kids named them Jack and Jill. Jill already gave us 5 chicks.. and now lay eggs again. The kids now wakes up early and looks forward to 4pm to feed them. They spent almost an hour with the chickens, holding, cuddling, and playing with them. It's our way of teaching them to be responsible.
