Rice or Paddy plant from our village fields. Rice is the staple food of our country. The scientific name of rice is Oryza Sativa. Rice is also called Paddy. Rice is extensively cultivated in our country. Rice is grain type annual plant. Paddy is cultivated well such areas where the land is low and the rainfall rate is high. And rice is usually pollinated by air. Differents types of tasty foods are made by rice in our country. And it is cultivated mostly in rural places. As I live in a village there are field after field full with rice. I captured this in one afternoon from the nearest field in our small village.
