Water Hyacinth Flower Photography from our river. The binomial name of this flower is Eichhornia Crassipes. And commonly known as Common Water Hyacinth. And it is also called the "Terror of Bengal" and also locally called "Kochuripana". These flower plants are free floating aquatic plant. These flower plants rise above the surface of water. This plant is known as one of the fastest growing plants. I captured that flower from a river side in our village. There are lots of Common Hyacinth Flower plants in this river water. They looks beautiful as they covered the side areas of the river. There is a colorful design on the top of the flower petal which almost looks like the tails design of Peafowl birds.
