Intellizoom
Over the last 3 months, I have been using Intelli-zoom user testing website, this is one of the most worthwhile ways of making money online in regard to time spent and cash earned.
The tasks involve testing new websites, completing some tasks, and voicing out loud your thought process as you're going through it.
Signing up
Signing up is a really quick process takes about 10 minutes in order to sign up and answer all the demographic questions, these will impact the types of surveys and the number of surveys that you get same as any other company.
The next step in order to sign up is to complete some different practice tasks these will be representative of the types of studies you can expect to get from intellizoom, they involve testing that you have the appropriate system requirements for getting set up with their service and that you can follow the instructions.
The two main types of test for intellizoom are one where you speak out loud whilst reviewing a website commenting on how easy it is and answering the specific questions it is asking of you, like describe how easy to use, how to find particular terms, what you liked how easy it was, etc, the second most common study tends to be a categorization study, where you categorize 40 - 50 subjects covered by the company and put them into which categories you believe are most appropriate. such as for betting where would you put first goal scorer, where you put handicap goals etc.
Once the practice test is complete you're then well on your way to getting signed up, the verification process for getting on intellizoom can take a while mine took me just under a month.
The studies
If successful you will then start to get studies emailed to you whenever they come out. You do need to be quick however some don't last very long and fill up quite quickly so getting to it asap will help you get into the study.
There will also be some screening questions before each study, to make sure you are suitable for the study, so you can expect to get screened out some times as well, I would say my win rate is probably about 50% but it is going to depend on your demographics.
Then for the studies themselves, an extension may need to be download for the web browser 'user testing' so they can record you and view your screen, this extension only active whilst doing the study.
Like I said there are two main different types of study, one where your voice is recorded whilst viewing a prototype website and completing tasks it is important to speak clearly and explain everything that you are doing as you are doing it.
Then secondly there are tasks that don't require a mic but will be things like categorizing certain subjects or trying to work your way through the website to find the correct page. Studies normally take between 10 -15 minutes
Payment
Payment is usually between $5 - $8 and is paid via Paypal there is quite a delay in the payment, normally takes about 21 days and your PayPal account needs to be linked with intellizoom account to ensure payment. So far all of the studies I have completed I have been paid for, I tend to keep track of the studies I complete via the emails I get once the survey has been completed and would then likely contact them if payment not made, but as this has not happened yet I have not needed to.
My earnings since signing up are quite modest, but the time taken to complete is definitely one of my most worthwhile ways of making a bit of extra cash.
