Lamp of Hope
I have hope in the future that lies ahead I haven't come this far to shake my head In despair, because the distance I covered can only be read I might be single but I'm not alone In this jungle I act like a clone But with my pen, I'm as good as prolific. I've lost families and friends Now I'm about to lose myself But I won't give in to stress I've to be courageous and full of strength. On my Journey in this desert of life I have to make sacrifices with knife For progress in different phase of life So my success wont be once in life. In life, one has to keep moving Despite the trials and tribulations. It is expected to endure the pains, Ignore the side attractions, In order to be a responsible leader. PS: There are five different words that served as imagery for this poem. They are; Ability, Adventure, Despair, Resort and Smugly.
