It might have been because of the SPS airdrop which had the splinterlands site overloaded for a while. Once you get higher in the rankings you rarely have players just not show up. Especially now with the rewards being so high.

    it seems to be fixed but it will be interesting to see how the game handles the load if more players come in. It's not really set in stone how many cards you need to move to higher leagues, skill certainly plays a big part in this, getting the right ones. I would say see what gets you crushed in games and try to rent those cards with the earnings you get from playing and build from there on out

I got the same here is not your internet the problem is the servers, are taking a lot of time to trnasactions.
