Money+Power=Corruption

Regardless of how you define money, regardless of how you define power, that formula is almost always true. Perhaps it's because humans develop a god complex, but the why doesn't really matter. I believe any proper solution to the drama BCH is facing today requires considering that formula.

One possible solution I've come up with is to stop using the reference client as a production client at all. This decision should be an easy one to make without the need to even consider who is behind the client or what they've done. However, if that's only clear with hindsight, we have real life examples to consider. If the reference client was only to be used for reference years ago, Blockstream could never have pushed the narrative that Core is the law and everything else is an altcoin. If the reference client was only to be used for reference today, ABC could not define an address where coins MUST be funneled.

This doesn't solve all of our problems, especially not immediately, after all, we are humans, and everyone wants the best. However, it's become increasingly clear that all aspects of a decentralized currency must be decentralized before it can withstand that formula. Centralizing development has been our biggest mistake, but there's still time to fix it.

Ok the bcash "community" are really struggling with this concept. Let me quote Satoshi:

"Bitcoin is only decentralised when power is removed from developers and others who can change the protocol. That is the point. The argument about decentralisation is about decentralisation of power. The only method to maintain decentralisation of power is to set the protocol and lock it. It must be set in stone. "

For starters, anyone who still uses "bcash" can only be a troll.

Beyond that, no one reasonable can possibly still believe that Craig Wright is satoshi.

BCH became bcash after the dirty tactics and exchange collusion in Nov, 2018 when it split from bitcoin.

lol wait bro you trying to justify how you guys handed out centralized checkpoint updates to major exchanges on fork day behind closed doors and redirected BTC hash and colluded with exchanges to steal the ticker with proof of social media? oh im sorry I must read more bitcointalk!

First, I'm not a member of "you guys." Second, while I'm not sure who "you guys" is, it sounds like a group of node developers in context, but node developers don't control hash, so these accusations don't seem to make much sense. Third, the whitepaper doesn't have tickers, and they aren't important where bitcoin should have been able to go in a utopia we obviously don't live in. Finally, I'm not trying to justify anything, nor do I need to. You, on the other hand, seem to have a lot of bottled up narrative that needs releasing, so keep on going.
