Story about two friends in primary school. Ayo was a very hard working boy. He was ten years old. He was in primary four. He never played with his studies. When never he came back from school,he always read his books and did his assignments. His parents loved him because he was very hard working and always ran errands for them. One day when Ayo was studying at home,a friend of his came to visit him. It was one week to examination time then. "Ayo , please can we go and play football today?"asked ADE ."No, I can not play football today"replied Ayo. "Why can't you play football today?"asked ADE again"because next week is examination", replied Ayo. "Does playing a little make you fail your exams ? After all it is often said "all works and play make jack a dull boy" , said the visitor. But Ayo said studying will before exams start makes one successful". And ADE left for the field disappointed because Ayo had refused to go to the field with him. Four days to examination period, Ade and some of is friend went to swim in the river after school hours instead of reading their books at home and helping there parents to do some things at home."chika lets go and swim in the river".He told his seat- mate . "Yes , let's go and swim in the river .I will go and call other while you go and tell Ayo about it", replied chika. " Hey ! Don't bother Ayo . He likes reading. He won't join us", said Ade.And soon afterwards, the boys left for the river. When there got there, they swam and swam until their eyes became reddish. Ayo went home happy . Ade cried and cried until he had no more strength to cry "oh, if I had known I would have read my book like Ayo so i will pass my exams . said Ade as he walked back home. When Ayo got home that day , his parents were very happy with him .his mother cooked chicken jollof rice for him to appreciate him . keep the flag flying my son", said the mother as she gave him a bottle of cold mineral . The next day, Ayo father took him to a big shop in the town and bought him a beautiful bicycle and a good phone . " Which of these bicycle do you want ? asked the father. "The red and blue one!"shouted Ayo with joy. Soon afterwards, the shop owner wheeled the bicycle and the phone out and gave the bicycle to Ayo . And he was very happy. Ade parents was not happy with their son's woeful performance "Ade, your result is very bad" . "You have been playing with your studies, " said the father after going through the report sheet. "In that case, you won't have the bicycle you father promise you. If you work hard next term you might have it ", said Ade mother. Ade cried and cried again, but Ayo was happy...When Ayo get home that day, he rode his bicycle in the field never their compound. He was very happy. " Ayo, please can I ride your bicycle ?Ade asked. Yes of course you can ride ", replied Ayo, and soon afterwards Ade began to ride it . He wished he had done well in the exams',his father would have bought him a bicycle and made up his mind to work hard the next term like Ayo........ What did the store tell us about
