Many Russians are leaving Russia. I suspect what they fear. In Soviet times, Russians (like all other Soviet citizens) were not allowed to leave the Soviet Union without special permission. This special permit was impossible for normal people to get. Only sportsmen, a few artists and some scientists who were approved by the communist party were allowed to leave the Soviet Union briefly for special purposes like sports competitions. Holiday travel was practically impossible. The possession of foreign currencies, such as dollars, was also forbidden. Well, Putin is already doing it. He wants dictatorship again, so I don't blame the people for running away. Soon the Russians will be without internet (to prevent critique of Putin's regime), without money, without basic supplies and they will suffer because of Putin. He doesn't care for his people at all!I hope the Russians will stand up and protect themselves from him... He has power though and people are afraid of him. 😔
Maybe the army will turn against him.
