In my last post I wrote that I didn't have much to do with smart contracts before smartBCH was launched. Now I have seen some DeFi projects on smartBCH and I am a bit disillusioned. Basically, they are financial products, except that there is no third party involved. The DeFi doesn't produce anything, doesn't create any added value, just creates another token through farming, of which there are already thousands. Still, I haven't lost my hope yet. I believe in real smart contracts, concluded between two or more partners and executed automatically. Payment will take place automatically when the service is rendered. That would be a huge advantage compared to traditional contracts. Conventional contracts can be broken, not honoured, then courts may have to decide and money has to be requested, which is often not there because the companies have already gone bankrupt. With smart contracts, as I understand them, that would not be possible. I hope that such real contracts, written in the blockchain, can work at some point. That would be a real win and that would change the whole economy. #DeFi #smartBCH
