Yep, the dollar price rise and fall and that's what attracts every person's interest. Including myself to be honest. But you're right, the adoption of BCH by the people is what could keep it at it's peak in the long run.
I have seen many people complain when cryptocurrencies go down in price and start to rejoice when they go up.
