Because the US economy is many times stronger than the Russian economy. Russian economy before the war was as big as the economy of Spain, soon it will be much smaller. Moreover, the US dollar is a world currency.
The US dollar is the world reserve currency for now. I don't think it can last longer. I'm merely pointing out that invading nations doesn't automatically tank the currency and there are so many other factors at play.
