Today I tried to pay with Bitcoin Cash in Croatia. The attempt turned out to be quite sobering. I tried several shops listed on the map at map.bitcoin.com. Some shops or cafés had the GoCrypto sign stuck on the door or window panes. Everywhere I would be told that crypto was not accepted. In one grocery shop, the clerk even had the GoCrypto sign on the cash register. I hoped that it would finally work. Unfortunately, the clerk didn't know how to sell for crypto. She tried hard, we tried 3 times, but it didn't work. Maybe that's why it didn't work because I used bitcoin.com Wallet and not Elly Wallet from GoCrypto. Elly Wallet requires KYC, so I didn't want to use it. #BitcoinCash #Adoption

All I can say is that for the most part crypto is still pretty much useless as money in the United States. I might as well try to spend Monopoly money.
I will be travelling to Slovenia soon. Slovenians here on noise.cash have told me that it works better there.
For sure some countries have done more adoption. It does surprise me that the U.S., being the economy that it is, lags in this quite a bit.
I just paid for a coffee with BCH. Finally, in a pub, a young man knew how to use GoCrypto's POS.
I've never heard of Elly Wallet from this side of the world. Personally, I also prefer to use Bitcoin.com, since it is very easy to use and does not ask you for so many things to be able to register with it.
Some sellers here don't even accept credit cards, I don't think crypto will be accepted soon. 😃 Maybe in 10 years. The progress is kinda slow in some countries. You can be glad the places you've been to know about crypto (even though you couldn't pay with it because some problems). :)
Thats amazing to try payment through BCH. Your country is well developed because here no one accept crypto 😒
