It's not long until the next upgrade of the Bitcoin Cash network on 15 May. The full nodes are the computers that run special software, host the Bitcoin Cash blockchain and validate transactions. On each of these computers, all your payments made with BCH are recorded (in the blockchain blocks). Without these computers, Bitcoin Cash would not work. But because there are so many of them and because they are spread all over the world, the Bitcoin Cash network can never be shut down by anyone. That is the genius of Bitcoin Cash. Man BTC is suffering right now and I am loving it
Thank you for explaining it more. Anyone can run a node and become a part of bitcoin cash network? Is it for free or Bitcoin cash offer them something? And is it the same as btc mining or different from it?
Anyone can run a full node on a cheapest Raspberry Pi. I have described how to install it here. https://read.cash/@Telesfor/how-to-operate-a-bitcoin-cash-full-node-bitcoin-unlimited-on-raspberry-pi-a76f2efe You can mine with the full node, but it's pointless using a PC because the difficulty is so high that it would take you thousands or maybe millions of years to find a nonce and mine a block with a normal computer. You need very strong special hardware for that. BTC and BCH mining is identical. A separate node makes sense if you run software that uses the Bitcoin Cash blockchain. Or you do it for fun and to try it out.
