Nature is very mysterious. There are all kinds of different elements scattered in different parts of this mysterious world. Many of us may have seen a fair of rainbow beauty in the sky on a rainy day. Imagine what it would be like to see a rainbow in nature without rain. Isn't it surprising to think?

We are surrounded by greenery. So we are accustomed to seeing nature in a lot of green. They look green or matte when you look at the mountains. There are very few people who can say that the mountains are red-blue or yellow-orange.

Surprisingly, we have a mountain in Asia that would not be wrong to call it a rainbow mountain. The name of the hill is 'Dangjia Landform Geographical Park'.

Zhangye Dangjia Landform Geological Park contains those colorful hills. Not just one hill, but seven hills in a whole range of colors. It's like an incredible fountain of color in nature's brush. The Rainbow Mountains in China are one of the world's geological wonders.

Zhangye Dangjia National Park is located in northwestern China. According to Wikipedia, the park covers an area of 124 square miles in Gansu Province.

On April 23, 2012, the site was turned into a semi-national geopark. After passing the acceptance test, on June 17, 2016, the place was officially renamed as 'Zhangye National Geopark' by the Ministry of Land and Resources.

In 2005, 34 Chinese media outlets voted the site, known for its colorful rock formations, as one of China's most beautiful landforms. In 2009, Chinese National Geographic magazine named Zhangye Dangjia as one of the six most beautiful landforms. It is currently one of the favorite destinations of Chinese and international tourists.

Zhangye Dangjia is basically known for its remarkable colorful rocks. The rocks are smooth, sharp and up to several hundred meters long. These are minerals and sandstone deposits accumulated for more than 24 years.

According to scientists, collisions between the Eurasian plate and the Indian plate about 55 million years ago disrupted the stratified horizontal and plane layers of the region. In response to this, there is the creation of this bizarre rainbow mountain.

Somewhere in this mountain range it is flat, somewhere it is high and low and somewhere it is smooth where there is a variety of greenery. The stone ornaments of the hill are decorated with posaras of different colors. If it rains at the beginning of the day then nature takes on a more glorious look.

The Dangjia Landform Geographical Park in Zhang, China is one of the wonders of the world. As soon as you set foot here, you can see the purple-blue-sky-green-yellow-orange-red colors of the tourists.

This naturally created landscape is alive like purple-blue-sky-green-yellow-orange-red-yellow. There are a whole seven variations of color. Its primary color is red. The red color is an iron oxide coating also known as hematite (Fe203).

This happens in exactly the same process when a piece of metal is left in the rain and forms a red layer of rust around its outside. Weather mixed with water and oxygen converts basic iron into iron oxide which contributes significantly to its formation of dark red color.

The best time to visit Dangjia is between June-September. At that time, the sun's heat and occasional drizzle in the sky bring out the true color of nature. Tourist buses are not allowed in the park. However, to enjoy the site view of the park, you have your own car inside.

Morning and early twilight are the best time to visit Dangjia. Because at this time the color of the mountain begins to change in the play of light around. In the morning and at dusk, the yellow and crimson hills gradually begin to turn light gray.

At that time, when you see the mountains, your eyes are dazzled. It is incredible to think that a whole mountain range can become a mixture of colors in this way. It seems that nature has turned the brush of its own mind on the dry, rough clay canvas. These colorful mountains stand tall in Zhang's Dangjia Landform Geographical Park. One of the strangest wonders of the world is this seven-colored mountain range.
