T@Tangled more from that month

Once upon a time in a lively village, there lived a young boy named Emmanuel. He was a kind-hearted soul, always eager to help others. One sunny afternoon, he was holding a small bag of money that belonged to his mother, who had just sold soymilk at the market. The sale had gone well, and she entrusted Emmanuel to keep the money safe until she returned. As Emmanuel sat under a shady tree, counting the coins, his mother called out to him from the kitchen. "Emmanuel! Bring me the money from the bag!" Emmanuel, with a playful grin, replied, "I've put it inside the bag!" He loved teasing his mother, who always seemed to worry about her earnings. Just then, Promise, Emmanuel's best friend, came running over. He had been playing nearby and heard the commotion. "What’s going on?" he asked, panting slightly. “My mom needs the money from the soymilk sales,” Emmanuel explained. “But I’m just making her wait a little longer.” Promise laughed, knowing Emmanuel’s playful nature. “You should hurry before she comes looking for you!” With a chuckle, Emmanuel grabbed the bag, and together they raced toward the house. As they approached, Emmanuel could see his mother standing at the door, hands on her hips but a smile on her face. “Here’s the money, Mom!” Emmanuel exclaimed, handing over the bag. His mother opened it and counted the coins with a satisfied nod. “Thank you, my dear. And thank you, Promise, for keeping him in check!” They all shared a laugh, grateful for friendship and family. And from that day on, Emmanuel learned that sometimes, it’s best not to keep your loved ones waiting—especially when it comes to money!
